What if I made it so that is would use just one 16340 3.7v battery, kept the same size width, but it would only be 3" long, compared to the normal 4 1/2". You could use a 3.7v 1000 mAh battery that would give you pretty good battery life. And, would show NO THREADING past the cap! So it would be a "stubby" version of the ST that you could easily conceal in your hand! And of course, it would still have the touch sensor switch that will never wear out like push button switches.

I was also thinking of making a version of the normal ST without showing any threads past the cap. Would look a little sleeker!

I need your thoughts!

Yep I want one of those!

I know what you mean about higher voltage. I like 5v myself. But, the 3.7v with LR atties isn't bad. And, you would get all of the safety and durability benefits of the ST in a shorter package.

My problem is, I have 3 Joye LR atties here and cannot get them to work with my ST. Also, when I have tried them on an EGO battery (and they worked fine), they still do not compare with 6V on a standard Joye510 atty! I guess I may have to design my own smaller 6V Mod. It won't have the AWESOME touch button though! Love my ST Sir, thank you!

You know, some of the best LR 510 atties I've found are the cheap ones from East Mall. They sell them sometimes for $3ea. You have to remember, a lot of atties don't work on the Ego as well. Each manufacturer designs atties to fit their product. I've tried to find the connector that will work on the most designs out their.

I waiting on a new machining lathe to see if I can get the threadless done on the Saber Touch Mini! It will take (1) 16340 battery for 3.7v. It will only be 3" long! I think it's going to look pretty cool!

I know it will be a must have and pretty.. cant wait to see it..

Could you pleeease make it able to take either the 16340 or the 18350? I have another unnamed mod that can take either and I looove it. The 18350 lasts longer than the 16340 I believe. Protected batts of course :) I would rush to the front of the line for it:D

I just have to get measurements on that battery. If your one mod takes both, then it shouldn't be a matter of length, just width, correct?

Just 2mm wider and 1 mm longer I believe from the #'s on the batts. I'm at work and don't have a tape measure:facepalm:
I would DEF be getting at least 1 or more:D
