I'd like the 2nd mini st:) Many women like the smaller size for their hands. Many other suppliers have different sizes for different wants:D Just my :2c:
RIMP:evil:
That's why I'm working on it as we speak! I think I would like one that I can conceal in my hand for public vaping! The Saber Touch can draw some attention!

Any idea what price range the mini will be? Can custom colors be done on the mini also?
Since the only difference in the Mini and the Original Saber Touch is the actual length of the 6061 aluminum body. And it will only be able to be a 3.7v mod since it will only hold one battery. The Original 3.7v/6v gives you more options as far as mods go. So, basically my manufacturing cost difference is minimal since they have all of the same parts and labor time. But, I'm thinking that I will introduce the mini at $99 with Free Shipping of course.
And yes, I will also have the custom option with it as well. I was thinking of letting the customer just order 1/2 lb. of their custom powder, but I think I'm still going to keep it at a pound. I will always process two bodies using the custom color so that I can choose the best for the customer. (which of course raises my costs but I want it to look the best) And the other reason is, if I need to shoot more, I still will have a little left to make sure it come out perfectly. I'd hate to tell the customer that we ran out of his powder!
It's going to be a take a few weeks to prototype the new edition, but I think it will be worth it. I don't have to prototype the switch anymore. And if I ever do put together a variable voltage in the original ST, that will take much longer to make sure it lasts just as long as the Original. A lot for me to consider!

HI Sir_L
Can I be the first International (SM) Sabre Mini purchaser because I am easily fixed and you can even save powder coating by just getting it to me in Shiny Aluminium :)

Snipper
Sure! Don't worry... you all will know when I have a working model to show!

can I use 18350's in my 5V ST? I tried yesterday to see if they fit. They do but I don't want to hurt my ST by using the wrong batteries , if it is not safe to use them.

the outside says ultrafire xsl 18350 1200 mah 3.7V on one side and the other side says The voltage of full charge and cut off discharge is 4.2v and 2.75v.

If they are the same size as the 16340's then yes you can use them. I built the Saber Touch to use certain size and voltage batts. But, the way I designed it, it can handle up to 60v! (But don't power it with your car batteries! LOL). But really, if they fit without having to over tighten the cap, they should work. I still wouldn't use anything under (2) 3.6v batts in the 5v for the longest battery life.

I can feel the spring is tighter but it isnt too tight , not like smashing it or anything. I just wanted to make sure they wouldnt do anything to the regulator or anything.

I had the issue earlier that I charged the batteries together and the charger thought they were charged, I got a whole hour of battery use before nothing would happen.. Hubby took my other ST and my spare set of batteries. I have some more being sent but they aren't here yet. So here I am tap tap tap waiting for batteries to charge. waiting for the mailman too LOL. I am gonna give these 18350's a try because they are charged and I have a spare set as well. Then hubby will not have me eyeing his ST.
