I live in St. Louis. I ordered a few blank turbo carts and 2 bottles of e-liquid on Saturday the 8th of May. Got an email that it shipped Monday the 10th. It is now May 17th and I haven't seen it.

Ben emailed me to ask how I liked it and gave me a promo code. I told him I hadn't yet received it. I just emailed him today saying I still hadn't received it but haven't heard back.

Now, granted, I paid the 3.99 or whatever for Priority Mail. I suppose it's possible that takes 8 business days, but I consider that insane.

Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow. My purpose in this post is to tell you that if you are trying to save on the 6 bucks shipping that you get with most places, don't bother. If it's going to take this long to get something, I may as well have paid the 6 bucks (3 more), and so should you. I'm almost out of stuff now, and if I use vapornine again, I'll pay the 6 bucks. Not sure I will, though, unless the turbo carts are really that much better. If I ever get them.

Mesa, AZ...off the analogs for years!
Tracking number is invalid and only for confirmation, not for tracking.

Anyhoo, as I said, generally stuff comes almost as quickly first class as priority. It has happened though that the USPS loses packages so the vendor needs to know, right? I'm sure he would want to know.

I had a package once that showed up 3 weeks after I ordered it. It looked like it had been through the ringer and juice was leaking everywhere. It was a real mess. Who knows where it went to all that time?!

My first class order from Ben arrived in California in 4 days (from placing the order). Just for the record.

I too find that the difference between priority and first class is negligible, unless things go really wrong and the package gets rerouted through Alaska. I"ve horror stories.

Check your tracking number. It might give you an idea what's going on (or not:p).

But please don't blame Ben. We, the customers, begged Ben to offer first class shipping for those who are not in a hurry and would rather wait than pay more for priority. He agreed and I am grateful. I don't know of any other vendor who even offers first class shipping. Ben is doing us a favor.

As they say, no good deed will go unpunished.

You guys didn't read my post fully, I see. I wasn't complaining about the shipping. I was saying that you shouldn't order priority to save 3 bucks, because it obviously takes longer than 8 business days.

Everyone should always order at least first class, therefore. That's all I was saying.

There could be plenty of new customers trying to save 3 dollars shipping and they shouldn't, as the shipping takes way too long.

Wasn't blaming Ben or the shipping. Figured difference was negligible, but it is not, at least to St. Louis, unless this is a fluke. Evidently better to order priority, because no one, ever, would wait 8 days for 3 dollars less. Again, not complaining about VaporNine or shipping in general, simply trying to give heads up to new people about saving 3 bucks.

me and Keyzygirl don't exactly have the best reputation of being in agreement...but I agree with her on this one..
Ben is nice enough to offer us shipping options....and he shipped it quickly and promptly...and it should even have a tracking #...(check your shipping notice e-mail)

the sins of the USPS are not his fault...

For your info, tracking numbers don't work with the cheapest shipping.

I'm confused, priority mail is 2-3 days, where first class can be up to about 7-10 days.

From what I understand, priority is air mailed from hub to hub, whereas first class is all ground. I think it all depends on your distance from the shipper on what will be faster.

Going from California to NC with priority is about 3 days, where if I did first class its about 7 days.

Now, within my state, is almost always faster to do first class.

what Katya said :)

madglee...we get it. Excuse me...don't want the grammar police to give me a ticket...."I" get it. What did get ME going...just a tad mind you :) was that your first post had a mildly harsh tone to it. OF COURSE I cannot speak for anyone else...but I am pretty protective of my favorite suppliers..silly...I know. But I was just wondering...did you try emailing Ben...or PM'ing him....before you made that post? That goes for the other person waiting as well. One thing I do know is that if there is some kind of problem...whatever it is...USPS....Ben's packing guy has a hangover...whatever...Ben would want to know about it. You would be doing him a favor to let him know....otherwise...well...how will he know? And if it's in his control he will fix the problem. Actually....most sellers are the same way. It's just been my experience that if you contact the seller FIRST...before you post here...you will get a higher satisfaction level. Me own 2 cents. :)

Yeah, I contacted him first before I posted and still have not heard a reply. Again, I was not ripping on the service, I was simply explaining that paying 3 bucks instead of 6 is not worth it if you have to wait more than 7 days, no matter if you make 80 dollars an hour or 4 dollars an hour.

I think there's a big difference between yelling "This place sucks" and explaining, rationally, as I did. Pointing out that the 3 buck service is not worth it for anyone new who wishes to buy from them.

yes well now I see the situation more clearly. I would be upset too if I ran out of e-juice. I actually have a stock pile of old bottles that have maybe 10 drops in the bottom. I figure in an emergency I can soak up the juice in cotton balls and then press it through a syringe...how sick is that??? <edit> right....run it through a syringe to drip on an atty and vape...thought I better clarify that one. <end edit>

Here is a Social Group and Forum for people who live in your area:
Show Me vapers - E-Cigarette Forum
They have live flesh and blood meetings!(possibly Zombies too....not sure) Try going over there.....I'm thinking maybe they have a list of brick and morter stores in St Louis you could go to. Or... someone might even live close enough to you to front you some juice or cartos.

I know your frustrated right now but people on this forum really really like to help each other. I have no doubt someone will be willing to help you. Let us know how it turns out.
:)
