Okay now I'm ....... So I live in an apt without washer/dryer hookups. No problem. Larger complex advertises that they have 8 laundry rooms spread out. Each has 3 washers and 2 dryers. 2 are the exact same distance from my apt. In each of them ... 2 dead washers, and 1 dead dryer. UGH
I'm actually perfectly okay with the sense UI. But I may root mine just so I can get rid of Sprint's bloatware. Stupid apps that I don't use. I have a new thing now, if a developer lets their app be made uninstallable by a vendor, I goto the Play Store and give it a 1 star rating and explain exactly why it's getting such a low rating.
Cool. I have rooted every phone (smartphone) I have ever owned. I remove all the bloatware at the very minimum. Which ROM are you looking at? Have you checked out themikmik.com? Chingy and Th3ory are two great developers.
I have the Rezound and while I like the Sense UI I think it can be greatly improved upon. Most developers out there could really teach a thing or two to HTC. Granted they are ROM developers, but the ROMs that some of these guys/gals are spitting out are amazing. I mainly root now to get back the full functionality of "my phone". I am an old Alltel / Verizon convert, and they took away my tethering ability. Well....I can still get it, but they want me to pay for it. I am grandfathered in to my old contract, so I have unlimited data, tethering, extra friends and family, and so on...
Edit: So I am not going to pay extra for something that I should already be getting. I still have the letter somewhere that they sent me stating that...
I often wonder what folks in Australia think when they first hear about people "rooting their phone". As I understand it, "rooting" is an act you do in the privacy of your own home with someone you care deeply about. 
I feel the same way about AT&Ts bloatware - Blockbuster/YellowPages/etc.

I often wonder what folks in Australia think when they first hear about people "rooting their phone". As I understand it, "rooting" is an act you do in the privacy of your own home with someone you care deeply about.
I haven't, but I will. Robert's (the wife's cousin) a rooting freak and is very particular about feature upgrades & bloat removal, & he has always ended up using one of the xda ROMS.
Rooting a phone is getting complete user control. It comes from linux, where if you have complete control, you've got 'root' command capability.
The Aus 'root' is completely different... Root (verb and noun) : synonym for FiretrUCK in nearly all its senses: "I feel rooted"; "this washing machine is rooted"; "(s)he's a good root". A very useful word in fairly polite company.
Rooting is simply removing the locks on the phone so you can change the operating system, kernel, and or radio.
My old Thunderbolt went through about 150 flashes before I got the Rezound. I am a member there as well
As well as PPCGeeks and a couple others. Chingy used to develop at XDA, but left because of all their BS...way to much to get in to. I have yet to do the Rezound, but might this weekend? Good luck!

Okay, I'm gonna suspend and close the laptop. I feel like if I don't, I'll never get out the door today. Gonna have to goto a laundromat to have clean clothes for the weekend it looks like. Sux, but oh well. They do have wifi, so maybe I'll get on once I get there.
