My wife does the color. I use Manic Panic colors. That was Electric Banana, Electric Lizard, and the tips were done in Shocking Blue.
Thank you! I enjoyed it. So did my students when they saw me during the summer. The narrow-minded just stared, or made sotto voce comments, but I could give a rat's ... what other people think. I like me for who I am. (I think that's why my wife loves me too.

You know, I almost asked what you use. I've always wanted a hectic hair color. Maybe something like 'raggedy-ann red' or teal... but I've always been uber professional business person, and in sales, so you really do have to be careful. Especially where I lived, which is like the narrow minded capital of the world. But now I'm stuck home, and seeing a wild hair color may well just perk me up every day. rofl I dunno... my hair is about 3 inches past my shoulders, and pretty seriously curly, so it would be an attention getter, fo sho. How much do those Manic colors trash your hair, or are they pretty friendly?

The color's not a problem. For me it's the bleaching. Once w/ an extremely strong, or twice w/ a milder solution. Either way, it turns my hair into straw. But that does make it easier to stand it up.
