Here's another awesome car from the 60s, a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda.

I still have my 67 Camaro.

I would post a picture, but something in the settings of this $*&#^@*&^%# forum insists that a photo that is 200x150 is 'too large,' even though I see photos that darn near take up my screen. So you'll just have to take my word for it - it looks freakin' CHERRY.

I upload mine to Photobucket first, and then use the IMG link to share it here... ;)

Wow! Where did everyone go? Oh well, I guess I'll just have to turn up the volume:

I have a funny story about the night they recorded that concert... ;)

A friend of mine had a couple of tickets he offered to give me, with the promise that I would actually go... I had a g/f who was a big Neil Diamond fan, so I got them for her.

The 2 of us went to the concert that night, but on the way walking up to the entrance there were scalpers all over the place wanting tickets!! We ended up trading our cheap seats for a pair of good ones to see Rod Stewart w/the Small Faces at the Hollywood Bowl a few weeks later. I already had tix for that show, but I said I would keep the better seats :D and give my friend the other pair...

When we went back to the car, they were all packed in like sardines and there was no way we were getting out of there... LOL!! (we were just one space away from the edge... too bad we couldn't just pick the car up and move it over!!)

We decided to hitchhike down to the Baskin-Robbins in town (the Greek Theater is up in the Griffith Park/Los Feliz area) to get some ice cream, and then made our way back up the hill... (it only took one ride each way) But the concert wasn't over yet, so we had no choice but to sit outside and wait... :?:

Well, at least I can say I was there and heard most of the concert... LMAO!!

30 minute rule....
"THE TWIST" is one of only tow songs to re-enter the charts and return to # 1.This happened in 1960 AND 1961. The other was Bing Crosby's "WHITE CHRISTMAS". The following year Let's Twist Again (1962) was released.

It was one of the first dances in the 1960s in which partners danced separated facing each other. Some people compared the movements in this dance to stamping out a cigarette .... on the ground while shaking your hips.
