The Allman Brothers Band, based in Macon, Georgia, made their national debut in 1969 and soon gained a loyal following. Their blues rock sound on one hand incorporated long jams informed by jazz and classical music, and on the other hand drew from native elements of country and folk. Because a certain type of blues music, and essentially, rock and roll, was invented in the South,[2] Gregg Allman commented that "Southern rock" was a redundant term, like "rock rock."[2]

Brothers and Sisters is the fourth studio album by American rock band the Allman Brothers Band. Produced by Johnny Sandlin and the band themselves, the album was released in September 1973 in the United States by Capricorn Records

Which 60s personality... Why, me of course...LOL!

After all... I was born in Hollywood in 1960. Lived in SoCal almost 50 years before I decided enough was enough.

So... I would say that counts as a 60s personality.

I took the quiz and it says I am a Hippie....................they are right on with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fire on the Mountain is a 1974 album by Charlie Daniels appearing on the record label Kama Sutra Records, then later in 1976 by Epic Records. Most of the tracks on the album are studio recordings, while the last two songs are live performances, recorded at the War Memorial Auditorium, Nashville, Tennessee on October 4, 1974.

When we went back to the car, they were all packed in like sardines and there was no way we were getting out of there... LOL!! (we were just one space away from the edge... too bad we couldn't just pick the car up and move it over!!)

'Stack' parking at the Bowl is crazy!!! Never seen anything like it...

But such a great place to see a concert! Under the stars on a summer night...

I've been so busy 'chit-chatting' today that I forgot all about my entries...

The Betamax... released by Sony in 1975, before JVC/RCA released the VHS version (1976) was actually a better format, especially for the Recording Industry. But they lost out in the Marketing Wars, partly because VHS tapes had a longer recording time!!

The bright yellow shag... that was the color of my walls. My shag carpet was a deeper purple than on the walls called concord grape. Had the beaded curtains and all the black light stuff going on and a waterbed...my posters were mostly Joplin and Hendrix
