Although I live in Puerto Rico--and I have for many years--I don't like most Puerto Rican food. This dish is an exception, and it definitely qualifies as comfort food. . .
Mofongo Relleno--which means, literally, Stuffed Mofongo. Mofongo is made using unripe (green) plantains, and then it is stuffed with a stew of some kind. This picture is Mofongo Relleno de Camarones (Shrimp), but I also like Mofongo Relleno de Pollo (chicken). . . (cultural lesson for the day is over)
