I'm not concerned about getting my money back. More just if anything is going to bounce. Cash flow is tight this week because I just paid all my bills.
I once had a bartender accidentally key in a $4 tip as $44. Touch screen POS system, so simple mistake. Next day after I saw it I went in with my receipt. The manager I spoke with realized that most people don't leave a 44 dollar tip on 4 beers at 2 bux each and refunded me the whole tab. I think what pisses me off the most is that the cashier didn't say anything if it was a simple mistake. Looking back on the drive
through experience, it did seem that it took a little longer to get my card back. I just chalked it up to a slow processing connection that day. Happens at work all the time. Even if they immediately refunded it ... takes 3 - 5 business days for a refund to show up, but only a day or two for a sale to process.
My bank is pretty good tho, so I imagine if something happens, they'll work with me.
