I was in this fishing tournament, Teams of 2 plus a helper. Fish for 50hrs straight. Well at the 30hr mark, running on my subconscious, I am sitting there vaping away, dripping and topping off, and I notice it taste a little strange. I vape some more and then notice that there is a strange dropper bottle sitting on the table. I look at it, taking double time to recognize that it's not my juice. No other vapors around, I start to think hmmm. what the heck. Then it hits me that this could bee BAD. So, I start to panic and start shouting and going crazy thinking I am vaping poison or something. I ask around and our helper had a bottle of Stevia on the table to sweeten her Tea. Still thinking I am going to Die. I ask who in the heck would bring a dropper bottle fishing. After a while I calm down and realized everything would be fine. As I think back it didn't taste that bad.:)

Oh, we finished 9th out of 42 teams.

So those two statements jumped out at me. Did you mean who besides you would bring a dropper bottle fishing?! Sorry had to ask :) Glad it wasn't anything bad! And congrats on the 9th place finish!

Happy Vaping!!

I thought I read somewhere that Stevia wasnt safe to vape??? I could be wrong but Im pretty sure I read it in here some where...

Hey Drew! I recall a few threads... here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...lavor-drops-ecf-discount-sale.html#post358809

But there was a concerted effort by some (competitors) to take it off the market and of course they overemphasized the 'danger':

Still, no need to vape it, although I've seen some DIYer that use it to sweeten. I'll just go with VG. :)

Stevia is heat stable and I guarantee you its better to inhale/vape than Splenda which is what is already being used in a lot of e juices.. You only need one drop for 3-5 ml bottle and I have never had any irritation or side effects from it. I drink it in my tea every morning too..

That being said- there are Stevia products in powder form and liquid form that have other addtitves that I would NOT use..I use the NOW brand which is stevia extract and alcohol ONLY..

Yes, just like ECIGS, the govt wanted to ban this natural sweet herb b/c it would affect any profits they are currently receiving from artificial sugars like Aspartame and Splenda..

Stevia has many health benefits, always has and won't change no matter how much the FDA tries to tell us otherwise..

Yep. I see you're on top of it Miss Vapor... :) I read all about it when it was actually happening. Can't sell it in UK either but you can buy it??? lol.
.... well, last I looked anyway. The drive of gov't is always to restrict and limit under the guise of safety but actually it's so incumbants continue to get elected.

Yeah NOW seems to have pretty good products... I have been mixing liquids for about a year now and have never used any kinda of synthetic sweeteners but I did remeber reading somewhere that they were questionable...I dont use any butter flavors either...Not even sure EXACTLY why, other than I read they were questionable...I knew Kent would show up to straighten me out though:facepalm: Great to see ya Kent...

Great seeing you out here too! I recall the butter thing too - Diacetyl. What was interesting is, [I think this is the case], that some flavor suppliers began listing that as a 'caution' on the butter flavors through someone's action here. I'm thinking someone who might not be around anymore or it may have been Kate51.
