Hello to all,

been lurking for awhile. Have been roughly vaping now for 8 months.

Recently just changed my liquid. I was using t-juice uk smokes, then tried dr Stanley's snake oil. Loved it, vaped it, and had a great experience using it for the first 3 days, then I started to lose flavour. I was using an itaste vv 3.0 and nautilus. Found out my nautilus was a copy so I changed it for the aerotank, love it but the same outcome. Little taste. Especially the aniseed flavour that I was getting on exhale.

i have since bought another bottle, with the same outcome. I have been using halo subzero and am getting some sort of taste, however it is a very strong liquid. I am very hydrated (don't drink), have good oral hygiene. This is the 8th day now!!!

any suggestions?

I like changing flavors a lot.
When my taste buds get overloaded I usually have a cup of coffee (some say smelling coffee grounds is enough to help). I brush out my mouth - teeth, gums, Cheeks, tongue, roof. Some times a rinse with with listorine can help too.
I'm going through that after sampling a ton of flavors at a vape shop yesterday :)
This seems to help a but, but it's not back 100%. I think that just takes time!

A nice menthol vape like MBV thug juice, or anything with a strong menthol/mint taste, strong mouthwash like Listerine works too. Another method which i think has been mentioned is eat something spicy and rich in flavour, like a curry. All of these method always sort out VT for me, god I hate VT!

I've learnt having at least 2-3 flavours on rotation stops it from happening

I use ginger ale to clean up my taste buds, a little sip, swish it in your mouth, hold it for a second or two, then swallow it. It might take you a few sips, but it does a nice job at activating your buds and cleaning your mouth. I think you actually get a little coating from the PG/VG or something to that effect.
I like this idea.

I had a case of vapors tongue a few weeks into Vaping. I started tried vaping different flavors but that din't help, it was depressing. In an attempt to reset my olfactory senses i ate some Wasabe. It was insane, but it worked.

A few weeks later I tried vaping the flavor that I was vaping the first time and the vapors tongue happened again, reused wasabe. And gave away the ejuice to a friend (it was his ADV).

Wasabe works well for me, not for the faint of heart though.

For me, aside from brushing my teeth an acidic drink works well. Coffee, soda, lemonade, you're choice really. Spicy foods too.

However I smoke a lot of ice flavors and coffee makes them taste terrible for a short time after.

As for dry hits, popping doesn't sound like that. Usually popping happens for me when the tank is slightly flooding and the popping sound is basically eliquid boiling around the coil. I could be wrong though.
