So…. Im about to take the plunge, drain my bank account, and buy a dna 30 device. Im going to go with the Vaporshark.

The only thing that I think is SUUPPPEEERRR sub par is the 1200mah battery that it runs on….IS there anybody out there with a VaporShark dna 20 or 30 that can tell me if it would be easy or not to get in there and change the LiPo battery out for something with a larger mah?

I just pre ordered one myself. I ordered the magnetic charging system for mine. And an extra cable. The battery life was something I wondered about to. Obviously it will vary greatly based on how you vape. I'm keeping one charger at home. And one at work. I drip. And keep a little bag with 15ml bottles of different flavors. At about twice the size of one of those bottles, I ordered a portable cell phone charger that has usb out. At 1600mah I have the ability to fully charge the device once. Honestly I needed the smallest device possible. If you don't. You should look at the protovapor xpv, or hana v3.

I like the Protovapor a lot but i don't like the look- decent price, looks like I could snap or crack it very easily

Hana mods are just ridiculously priced(for good reason though)

I think I should be fine with the vapor shark…Im basically never at a place where I can't charge it and even if I'm not my Zmax v5 has a usb charger on it…so Im going to pull the trigger and go for it

Oh…To be honest I didn't really look…hmmm

I guess Im trying for something a little bit different than what I have already…but I do like that they use a sony vtc4 in it…my favorite :p

Do you know what the usual wait time is for the xpv? I submitted my thing and they said that they'd send me an email

The only thing is that I can't wait super long because for something like the DZ DNA30s or DNA30L it takes a month, and in about a month I leave for a month long backpacking trip and then a few weekends of concerts and festivals, so I want to purchase it before then

I'm not sure what Protovapor's current back-log is. About a month ago, it was less than a week, but that was before the DNA 30 was available, which may have increased it some. I actually ordered a second one last night (backup/spare) but I'm sticking with the DNA 20; I have no need for more than 20 watts and I really like the 2900 mAh Panasonic battery.

Is'nt the vaporshark an overpriced disposable?
Hardly. It's a very nicely done DNA mod, the smallest one available, and quite possibly also the most affordable DNA mod around.

Read that the coating peels & sheds easy too.
No, what peeled & shed was the original (two-color) Vaporshark DNA logo on the one side. No big loss, that. The black finish looks to be some sort of powder-coating. The only place where the black finish on mine shows any wear is on the bezel at the bottom (which it's constantly sitting on).

There is a 15×58mm size battery inside, you won't find a lot of better batts in the size.

look at the protovapor xpv- 2900 mah battery, solid construction with nice fit and finish, and easier to hold and keep in a pocket with the built-in clip. by far the nicest dna mod i have of the various ones i own. to top off a great product is the best customer service i have received from ANY device manufacturer. the xpv and either a russian91 or aspire nautilus has become my default all day vape-at under $200 delivered it is a nice bargain, also.......
it took 1 week from ordering to delivery- another nice feature....

So I went with the vaporshark…Gunmetal and magnetic charging :) I actually did a lot more research and many people said that the battery capacity was not a problem for them…I guess they are just high quality batteries…and I want to find a portable usb charging device that is about the same size to carry around and maybe make sort of a holster for it on my vaporshark? I think that would be really nice

IMG_1963.jpg I haven`t got a helios, but am very happy with my VS. Battery life really isn`t a problem just make sure you`ve got the cable with you.

I've had my DNA20 for quite some time and nary a problem. The finish on this thing is about as good as it gets. It does have a somewhat short battery life but you can vape it the entire time it's charging. Vapor Shark will replace the battery when it fails (for a fee). I like my Vapor Shark set up (also have the Glass system) so I'm all thumbs up on this puppy.

I use several myCharge devices. Just the other day we had a bad ice storm here and I was without power for ten hours. Since the output is usb, I can connect my phones, iPad, and cellular internet device to them. I'm sure there are others out there (and I originally bought them to recharge some of my camera equipment) but these things seem to last quite well.
