No worries. I love this thing but it's battery capacity is less than stellar. I knew this going in to it. If I wanted to vape at the same levels as my rdna, I would have bought another rdna.

That's incredible. I guess my battery is a dud or my tank is very inefficient. May I ask what tank you are using to get 7 to 9 tanks on a single charge?

I run the herakles TC coils and get 4-6 hours, not sure how many tanks, I haven't counted. On a side note, some of these comments make my ocd behaviors twitch :p

herakles coils. Was able to run the TC coil on my mod for a day. same with the 0.6 ohm standard coils.

today I ran the 0.15 crown coils on it most of the day with the 0.25(if I remember right) kanthal coil.

Honestly all these mainstream companies need to stop being so .......n obsessed with keeping the mods tiny tiny tiny. for god sake make it a little bit bigger and you could fit like a 1500-2000mah lipo in there.

I get the feeling he needs to go into escribe and put the correct wh capacity to get a correct battery meter.

And it has begun. the people complaining about the finish already wearing out.

Made me clean mine and take a look, since it's my throw around rig. Both bottom corners look worse than this, will upload picture shortly... upsetting for the price especially with nano coating. That being said, I still think I would give it an 8 out of 10 for quality. That is taking everything the rig is into consideration, and yes I am upset now that I looked.

Weird that it's in the same place. I've had the tank off multiple times, no ring or anything of the sort.

I don't care if you do shove it your jeans or what as new as that is I would be peeved. That nano coating is nothing more than sprayed on "never wet or plasti-dip concoction" and $30 in the bank for VS (IMO). They probably have the shark skins sitting around and are waiting to see how many suckers they pull in on the snake oil. I was really really considering jumping on one with the holiday price but based on this and some recent battery life statements I think I will pass. :(

You guys do know that the nano coating is just an invisible hydrophobic spray they put on the internal components right? It's the same thing most newer phones have, just repels water away from the electronics. Has nothing to do with the coating on the outside of the device.
I'm fairly certain that a big portion of people don't have a clue but I guess VS is to blame for not marketing it appropriately.

Hm. VS claim otherwise. I ordered mine without so I don't really care, but here's what they say:

"A hydrophobic layer approximately 2 angstroms thick, or 1/2000th the thickness of a human hair, is applied to the entirety of your device inside and out."

From their website: A hydrophobic layer approximately 2 angstroms thick, or 1/2000th the thickness of a human hair, is applied to the entirety of your device inside and out. This extremely water-repellent carbon polymer is applied in a controlled vacuum environment via an electrical plasma. The result is a shield completely invisible and undetectable through touch. Vape Shield is only noticeable in the event of an accidental spill or liquid submersion. When water or other liquids come into contact with your device Vape Shield actively repels the liquid from any coated surface, protecting the sensitive internal circuitry.

Hey one, receive any more shipping notices? Mine is still processing.

Same here, and not gonna lie, a little annoyed they offered it at 20% less while it's not even shipped. REALLY hoping I get that shipped notification tomorrow.

Yes, they usually take the device and place it into a chamber which fills with the hydrophobic material. The entire device including the inside is coated. You can't tell that's its applied though. You can even have companies apply this to your phone or any other device for you. Liquipel is one company that does it. It doesn't have anything to do with the finish of the device though. It's invisible and does not effect the feel of the device. The application on the outside is really just a side effect of covering the insides, which is the most important aspect of the coating. You wouldn't tell the difference between one coated or not unless you spilled water on it.

So would that be covered under the warranty? Their T&C says "30 day warranties exist on manufacturing defects ONLY. Usage based defects are issues caused by mistreatment and/or misuse of products." They can't really call that a usage based defect after a week unless you tried cleaning it with sandpaper, especially if its already happening to someone else in the exact same spots.

With the rDNA40 they did not cover finish issues under warranty which was a big concern to some of those affected. I would expect them to take a similar stance on the DNA200. I have 3 rDNAs and have not had any problem with their finishes.
