Mine still hasn't shipped yet.

But wow, long wait times, bad marketing, non exsitant support, the only thing they had going for them was a solid product.. Now seems even that is in question

I called today to see if they would credit the 20% they offered for Labor Day...no surprise, they wouldn't do it. I also expressed how annoyed I am about preordering with the initial expectation of August 24th shipping followed by the long delays....followed by reading of people receiving theirs before I got mine knowing they ordered after me. He told me the same thing as the last guy, that the Nano coating held it up and could STILL hold it up another couple weeks depending on how many they get out per day with the coating- it's done in house. He told me he could refund the coating and put me in as priority for the next batch that comes in, I would get it without the Nano coating. I told him to do it, he told me I should in this case receive my tracking number this week.

I'll keep you updated.

@DougFNJ

Yha pretty much they will do nothing or offer anything to fix their mess ups with the exception of a refund, Honestly, I feel they are stuck up and need to come back down to earth. I will not be doing this again no matter how good their next device is.

I'll tell you what, I'm considering just canceling my order, sticking with the Yihi chips and waiting it out for Provari to release a higher wattage device. I am really not crazy about the Vapor Shark experience.

I'm planning to cover mine with a J wrap so not too worried about the peel.

Do you know what? That isn't such a bad idea! If vaporshark won't sort out the finish for people then at least covering the scars with wrap would at least hide them and you should have a scratch resistant covering at least. You would end up with a more personal touch and having a carbon fibre or brushed metal look could be quite cool

Also to let everyone know the nano coating won't help prevent the rubber coming off! All it does is add a waterproof coating to the exterior, nothing more, nothing less, just makes it repel liquid. Vape shield is a slightly misleading term but if anyone bothered to actually read what it does would know what it is meant to do!

My pants twitched thinking about a Provari 200 watt mod.

Received post notification to go pick up. Not so excited as I was a week ago.
I will wear silicon gloves and gently hold it with both hands in hopes it doesn't peel on the first day. I will only vape on it once a week for 5 minutes as Vaporshark designed it...

Maybe a good idea for people that still need/want to order.
Skip and save the money from extra finishes and send your mod to someone like OCD mods and get a propper finish (cerakote or so?) on it, sticker wraps are meh imho.
He realy does top work, bet there more services like that in the USA?
Hard to understand people just let things like that go btw, you all sue mcdonalds for to much fat in food but getting bend overby a e cig company you still call it quality and make an analogy to bmw. I do understand the point of view...its just not worth the hassle for 200usd but still, these things are a week old lol.
Guess in Belgium customers are more used to propper and long warranty (by law) then over there.

Yes because you've known me to have sued McDonalds. Have you guys no Tommy Boy over there?
"Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of ..... That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me." (excerpt from Tommy Boy 1995)
I've never been to Belguim but I'm guessing I could find a warrantied by law pos.
And more to the point being the gene pool of regulated PV's gives you the comparison chart of quality. Certainly it isn't a BMW it doesn't get me laid or make my heart stop. But when I compare it to the Sigs new and old, the new sxmini m class, the much lower grade devices like ipv 4 or snow wolf device, then yes it most certainly is acceptable to compare it to a beemer. Now is It a GP or Dos Equis? Hell no, but that's a whole other ball game.

Edit: Also have not heard back from customer support for those waiting for that email

Who is tommy boy please, you seem to know Belgium better then me, or maybe its a slang for something?
Yea sueing a fastfood chain was a bad example, its just a generalisation that people in usa sue companys and stuff for wathever often, sorry for my generalisation (is that a word)?
Still doesnt take away from the point vapers take to much .... as normal, i dont know of any other branche where you would get away with stuff companys like this do.

Vaporshark (earlyer cheap models) is the product i advise to new vapers on dutch forum to btw, they are indeed quality.
Wat is waranty time in usa if i can ask, here (EU) its 2 year for example when buy a VS from a dutch vendor (whatever the vendor might claim on his site).
Not that you would be out of time after four days and a below standards finish anyway, just curious.

Ah, I misunderstood your meaning in your first post. Generalization is a word, and the correct word to use there, your English is quite good. Part of taking it up the bum is that I don't live in Florida, and I can't just walk into a VS B&M and say hey look at this. You've got the email process, then I seriously doubt they would send you a replacement, so you have to send your's back, hope it doesn't get lost, be without your rig for x amount of time, let them "fix" it (which if they don't change their processes, is going to be just like the one you had with the same issues), wait for it to get shipped back and hope it makes it. And it is my only dna 200 mod so I'm not really interested in buying a backup until Whiteout gets released. As well as I have no illusions that a fixed or re surfaced mod would not do the exact same thing in the same span of time. I think I'd rather beat my hand with a hammer than deal with that mess.

Its not just you imho but i might be wrong on that.
Missus and son are from/in FLA, she got a different look on waranty to, its broke its for the bin and buys a new wathever it is lol.
Wonder if the black under the rubber coating still flakes that easy to, alto that might be to early to see?
Cant understand they cant get their finish right, they loosing customers over that.
That zip charging needs to get generalized on other D200s, its about the only feature that can make the board better then it is atm, hope some little modmakers figure that out.
