Burning point of cotton is 214°c so anything above that and your in burnt taste territory a vtc mini would be a good mod for you and something like a lemo v1 tank will give you good flavour and has an easy deck to build on. If you order from fasttech can save some decent money but you may have to be patient as fast shipping isn't their thing. Look on YouTube for anything your looking to buy and check out the specific areas of forums (for vtc go to apv section & for the lemo rebuildable) for decent gear there is usually good threads full of all the info you'll need.
