Vaptio Prod Kit MTL 20W with 700mAh battery is a new ultra-light and compact Pod device, the minimalist appearance should not be misleading, in fact some solutions typical of higher-end products have been adopted, such as adjustable AFC, a small screen control and high performance replaceable MTL coils type.

For the occasion, Vaptio sent me two different types of packaging.

The bigger box of the Prod kit is more delicate and well packaged, it is the promotional version, only for reviewers and customers. The small box is the version for sale on the market. Product quality is the same, Prod Kit is just packaged differently.

First impressions:
Vaptio is a company that has been able to carve out its share of the market by producing mostly cheap Starter Kits, investing heavily in research and development Vaptio has managed to minimize various congenital defects of these systems by improving the relationship with the user.
I am often lucky enough to preview new devices and have been able to verify that Vaptio has often anticipated its competitors in the sector, introducing innovative technical solutions such as the first anti-leaking systems, thus showing the way forward to progress and to offer products to the market. best.

Vaptio Prod comes with the most classic of designs (Vape Pen). I was afraid of finding myself in front of the usual ultra-cheap kit, luckily and to my great satisfaction I could immediately notice that the cartridges are equipped with large replaceable coils, excellent preamble to decent performance, in addition there is also a small screen ( always welcome).

The prod Kit frame seems to be built in aluminum and the general appearance of the device is pleasant, the handling is excellent and the weight does not exist so it is not difficult to use prod kit like a traditional cigarette and without using your hands to support it while using it.
After having discarded both packages, I realized that the only difference is represented by the "collar" present only in the De-Luxe package.

On the front half-height we find an oval screen that incorporates the small display and the Fire key, both circular in shape.
The Display is very bright and easy to read, there are the value of the coil in Ohms, the total number of puffs, the duration of the last puff, the wattage set and an icon that represents the battery charge level.

Towards the bottom the word Prod appears vertically (Vaptio on the other side), while a window (1xside) has been created at the top of the cartridge base that allows you to view the liquid level inside the cartridge.

Adjustable AFC:
Depending on the direction of insertion of the cartridge it is possible to obtain two different types of Puff, but always in the orbit of the MTL vape.

Vertical decoration lines and a single air intake hole appear on both narrow sides, inserting the cartridge with the refill cap facing the air passage hole will result in a slightly narrower puff.

Looking at the compartment / pod from above, you can see the two slots for viewing the liquid, on the bottom of the compartment / pod there are gold plated contact pins.
The USB-c charging socket is located on the bottom of the device and also acts as a vent for the internal cell.

The smoked color cartridge contains up to 2ml of liquid has a thinner shape towards the top and is quite comfortable, the refill hole is generously sized, is located on the side profile of the cartridge and is protected by a soft silicone cap . The replaceable coils supplied are inserted from the bottom, they enter completely into the cartridge with an internal air flow, this system is a pride of Vaptio as the formation of condensation is thus eliminated.

Instructions for Use:
- Turn on / off the device: Quickly press the Fire button 5 times within 3 seconds, the screen will show "Vaptio" / "Power Off".
- Power adjustment: Press the button 3 times to access the power adjustment mode, pressing the button to increase / decrease by 0.5W at a time from 5 to 20W.
- Puff number recording function: the main interface records and displays the puff number. When the cartridge is not connected, the number of
puff can be canceled by long pressing the Fire button.
- Intelligent recognition of the coil: The device automatically recognizes the resistance by limiting the max power to 15W for the 1.2Ω coil.

Protections

The Vaptio Prod Kit uses a 5-level protection system with notification sent to the display, the cut / off is activated after 10s of consecutive vape.

Final conclusions:
Hoping to have been as exhaustive as possible in presenting the product, I conclude by saying that Vaptio Prod Kit is one of the most performing devices in this category that I have ever tried.
Both coils are worthy of Nautilus-type specialist MTL atomizers and other famous ones that use "disposable" coils.
Inside this small cartridge these coils do not make you regret more advanced and expensive systems, the regulation of the air depending on the direction of insertion of the Pod can offer a more or less restricted but fully MTL vape, moreover the system does not produce condensation .
Power delivery is constant until the residual charge of the cell is exhausted.
With the coil from 0.8Ω to 15W I made 198 Puffs consuming about 5ml of liquid.
With the 1.2Ω coil at 11W I made 234 Puffs consuming about 4ml of liquid.
I consider Vaptio Prod Kit another low cost device to be absolutely recommended to those who want to approach the vape in an effective and discreet way.
