Variable Volt Suggestions

Although I have been vaping over a year now... I have not experimented much. I made a huge change a few months ago going from my KR808 to my KGOS. I LOVE my KGOS...but am looking for input on the variable volt models. First of all, is this something I even want to try? I only use Annette's juices now...and am trying out different cartos, chibi tank and sapphires to find the best balance. Can those with more experience with mods...share a little knowledge

Like you I took the natural progression through pvs - joy 510, Ego then added the EgoTank but wanted something with more battery life and options. I researched variable voltage devices read up, compared pricing etc. I decided on the Infinity because it was slim (I didn't want a big fat mod), shiny and easy to use. Turn the wheel to the voltage you want and vape, no complications, turn it up, turn it down, find your spot for any juice. I later invested in the BuzzPro, operates the same as my Infinity a little fatter, a nice purple color, dial the wheel up or down, vape. Both have treated me well, I love them. I can Vape any juice at any voltage that *I* desire Both range from 3.7 ish - 5.6 ish volts.
I only need to change batteries once a day, less if I have swapped mods during the day. I use cartos, tanks w/ cartos and sometimes drip. I can use most any size carto/atty but using a small adapter,so it's versatile.
Do you want variable voltage... you will not know how much you want it until you try it, or why you didn't try it sooner. Wouldn't trade mine and I'm glad of the company I went with, dependable, active in the forum so questions are answered fast, he stands behind his work.

I have to suggest the Provari as the best VV Mod out there! It may seem big at first, but once you start using it, you will see that it really isn't. Good, solid Mod with a greta warranty. I also had an Infinity before and it is a nice Mod also...just too long for me....

I love my Buzz and Infinity Pro's. I use 901's though, so the top cap choices are nice so I don't need am adapter. I've heard nothing but good about the Provari too...just depends on what look you like and your price range.

I will second the Provari. I have had mine for 11 months and the fit, finish, and features just can't be beat. Being able to check the ohms of your atties/cartos in a click, battery life, change you voltage, along with circuit protection is awesome. You can get a full kit (pv, batteries, charger) for $211.

However, if you don't want to spend that much, the new chinese vv mod--marketed under lavatube and several other names--can be had for about half the price with a few less options and quality.

iowagal, hold off on spending big bucks on provari's and such until you see if you even like VV. My first VV was one of Godzilla's FoxyBoxMods -- just a plain black box but still allows lots of room for experimentation.....pm me if you need a link to his ordering thread....

I would like to point out that a lot of the VV mods out there are set to 3.7 volts as the lowest possible voltage. I sometimes like to use L.R. 1.5 ohm attys at around 2.5 volts. This allows a wider range of adjustment for more sensitive juices. I use the EverCool with a 500 ohm pot instead of the recommended 200 ohm to drop to my lower voltage requirements.

I just recently purchased a VV from GotVapes. It resembles a large Ego, is stainless steel, and has 4 voltages-3.3, 3.5, 3.7 and 3.9. Yesterday it lasted over 12 hours of constant vaping and is $38. I think it's a great starter into the world of VV. Of course, I also just purchased the Lavatube from Volcano and it goes up to 6 volts (not sure I need it, but it was my Christmas present to myself for passing the 6 month mark).

I think I saw that VV at GotVapes -- but I already vape at 3.7-4.2 volts minimum, and I believe that mod was a 510 (everything I have -- including cartos -- is 808).

I absolutely LOVE my VV Splash from vapecore.com. The voltage goes from 2.8 - 7.4 and they're cheaper than a lot of the other VV devices. They have a voltmeter on them so you can see what voltage you're vaping. I would highly recommend one of these as a first VV device.

I bought avv 5v box mod and I'm ecstatic with it! From Maximum Vapors for $20, plus batts n charger. It is rocking my vape world, esp w/Pirate Pudding!

PS Bought a vv ego, hated it, gave to sis. Get a box!

Pps oopszie...bought the 5v for $20, the Vv box for $45. Worth every penny. Never woulda thunk i'd like a box, but I love it! Gave the sis the straight 5v and she is thrilled,too! I know in my heart this is the pv that will get me off the stinkies for good!
