Variable Voltage MyGo ver 2.0 LOOSE 510 CONNECTOR !!!!!

I've had my Variable Voltage MyGo ver 2.0 for about three weeks now.I Love it but the 510 connector is getting loose.What i mean by loose is that the whole connector from where it mounts inside the mod can be rocked side to side.Just the weight from my vivi nova can make it shift from side to side .Anyone else having this problem?I never put it in my pocket with my vivi nova on it so what gives...I got it from aqua vapor.

Did you buy it under warranty? Also, vivis are a bit long on some pvs, so don't tighten them too hard on the centre post.

I got it on clearance w/o a warranty just to give the world of vv mods a try at a low price. I've been vaping for over a year using USB Pass-through batteries and tube tanks from volcano ecigs.I never over tighten them from past experience with my e-go battery. Anymore ideas

The only other idea I have is that you've picked up a device with a centre pin not attached very robustly.

I was hoping someone can tell me how to get the top cap off just in case in rocks the wires loose.

Is it the chrome version with a drip well? If it is, there seems to be a problem with the connector on that particular model. Apparently there are no problems with the versions without the drip well.

I had that problem with my chrome one too except it was right out of the box so they sent me out a replacement because it was considered a DOA device. I actually just received the replacement today and all is well so far...keeping my fingers crossed. I'm sorry to hear that you have the same problem

I bought the black one - i did order the 510 to ego connector - wondering if you got one of those and used it if it will help. you wont have to unscrew your vivi from the main connector = just a thought.....

Yes I got the black one with no drip base.I have the ego adaptor but it don't matter when the .whole connector is loose

I have the same unit from the same vendor. The 510 connector on the unit is crap, wobbly plus the inside threads are loose. I had to send my first one back. On my replacement, I put an Ego tank cone on it to keep it from wobbling. I got the idea from post #30 in the thread below. There was another thread on this same issue with links to vendors that sell the cone adapter, but I can't, for the life of me, find it right now.

Thanks a lot for the info,it looks ugly but this fixed my rocking connector with what i already had. A little long but its my around the house and road trip device anyway.Here are some pics.

Personally I think you did a proper fix considering you DIYed with on hand parts. It looks like the 2.0 had the connector pressed in place. Not a good idea on light aluminum or thin metal. Just the pressure from connecting/removing tanks would eventually work the connector loose.

I have the latest Young June version and it is working great. I do have several adapters to keep things from floating/rocking. I found out even though CE4/5 clearos fit, Kangers are to thick and of course tanks ride on top. Kanger gets a 510Ego adapter and sleeve. Tank adapters for others.
