Used to, the only VW device was the Darwin. Now all the new devices are vv/vw. Do you think VW will become the new "norm" or will it peter out? Nothing at all against VW but I've never been really interested in it. To me, it's kinda like using the automatic setting on a camera as opposed to manual. I am familiar with all the numbers, I know what resistance I want my coil to be and know what voltage I want to use it at after it breaks in.

Those of you who have switched from vv to vw... how has it changed your vape experience?

Do you find yourself liking vw better or do you find yourself going back to vv.

Do you use both equally or one over the other?

For new vapers.. is vw easier to use and understand or is vv easier?

Do you think that vw will take over and vv will fade out or do you think vw is a fad and won't last or do you think that a combo of vv/vw will be the new norm?

Just curious as to what others think. :) I personally think that the vv/vw combo is a nice new feature, whether I use it or not.

I'm still to find the e-juice that cares how you calculate the math. All that matter is that the right amount of voltage is applied to any given resistance. Whether you use your lap top to make the battery feel all wonderful and fuzzy, or just stick that battery in an unregulated tube makes no difference. The power supplied by the battery is either proper for the resistance or it isn't.

Yes, I tend to think that we over complicate things.

I may be the odd duck here but I actually like VW and to look at it as I vape in a preferred wattage range. I understand and use VV with my twists (obviously a tighter range) but that's more for compensating for liquid feed as my clearo's that I use on them are within .4ohms. I use my eVic in VW mode and love it :)

I have a Zmax and VAMO and use both in the vw mode just because I find it easier than doing the math. I know a lot of people say switch it over to vv and tinker till you find your sweet spot but I like understanding how things work and with vv I don't understand it so I just leave mine in vw and vape away... To me it is more set and forget.

VW is a more advanced technology. A power setting (vw) is more indicative of the vaping experience you are going to get than an electrical potential setting (vv). I don't see any reason to use vv over vw (all else being equal), and the market seems to be supporting vw devices at this time, so I imagine we'll only be seeing them become more popular.
