I've got a Janty Dura that I bought over a year and a half ago. I quit vaping about a year ago, but recently I've become interested again. 510 parts (atty's) accessories abound from many suppliers. I see Joye, Janty, and various unnamed 510 atty's. So what are the differences in quality etc.? I'm aware of the different resistances that are available. But what other differences have been noted (ie. quality differences between manufactures and their suppliers).

For example the Janty Dura/Ego atty's have a 6 month warranty. The Janty Tawa's have no warranty. Some say good things about Joye. Others have commented that Joye is having quality issues.

I still have the original two Janty Dura atty's that I purchased way back when. Both still work fine. I've used one of them from the get go (for 4 or so months when I was vaping a year and a half ago and for the last 2 weeks). The other I have as a back up but have yet to need it. I maintain my atty (rinse with watter, blow out, dry burn/blow). It's still going.

Most seem to experience (from what I've read) about 1 to 2 months of service from their atty's. Is this dependent on the brand/manufacturer? Are some brands of 510's better in this regard than others? I can't imagine Janty giving a 6 month warranty on their Dura/Ego atty's without them being able to deliver decent service life. However, the Janty Dura/Ego atty's is twice as expensive as others that I've seen. Is it worth the extra cost as compared to other alternatives?

I intend to purchase a box mod soon. I've got my eye on a Kaji Ali'i. I missed the initial preorder run and will have to wait until next Friday to buy one. Naturally, I plan to experiment with atty's to find the right wattage for me. I'll probably start with an 18650 and a standard 510 2.3 ohm atty. The Ikenvape 2.0 ohm atty also looks interesting as does other LR 1.5 ohm options. Would using the Janty Dura/Ego atty's be worth the cost or would some other standard but less expensive 510 be worth while?

Personally I find them all to be pretty much of the same quality. The only difference I've noticed is that the Joye 510s have a hard, rubber type grommet on the batt connector [the round o-ring that seperates the + and - terminals]

The BE510s, Bauway 510s, and SLB 510s use a softer silicone o-ring that on some mods can be a problem if you screw them on too tight. This has happened on my 510 adapter for my Prodigy V2. If the atty is screwed on too tight it can short out. Its repairable though.

I've used Joye 510s, BE510s, SLB510s, and Bauways. I had an SLB510 that came with my first 510 kit back in February and it was in use for 5 months until I dropped it while attached to my PV and broke it in half. It could have been resoldered but it wasn't worth the hassle.

FWIW I really only find the Joye 510s useful for 3.7 volt vaping. The others perform much better at 5-6 volts.
