Went down to electronicstix and picked up one of these for $19. Got it for a backup mod and so far it works as good as a Lavatube. Looks very cheaply made but so far works just great. I can't believe nobody has talked about these yet. Just wanted to start a topic on these because for that price you cannot go wrong.

I think for a backup mod or a mod to keep in your car or work drawer if you forget to bring your main, it's decent. It serves its purpose, but a lot of people are looking for their primary squeeze here.
...but I think you have it backwards. The trend follows that the cheaper something is, the more something that can go wrong, and I don't think many people are willing to take that risk.

These varistacks are getting a bad rap just because they are made from abs plastic.
They are truely a work horse.
But buyer beware as their are a couple different versions out there.
Mine can fire 2 ohm duals no problems and battery life is about 15 hours (5ml of juice)

More money does not always equal better,I hesitated to buy this just because of the price.Like I say if it only lasts a few months,I have lost nothing! For some reason It hits better than my LT. Not sure how that could be but it does. I will never be a high dollar APV owner.

Some newbie question, I Just ordered varistacks from local store, but need some info regarding the battery size, is 16340 fit on the device or it's must have the correct IMR 18350 ? I have several 16340 IMR, some ultra and trust 16340 protected unused, tough if it's fit, I don't have to ordered another battery size.
