Is it a requirement to use this with the Joye 510? Or can you just use the eliquid? I have been reading posts on this and it seems this is used just to produce more vapor? Or is there another reason? I was thinking it would be a good way to reduce the level of nicotine. Like if I were to use a 24mg eliquid then diulte it with the VG...or am I not understanding properly?

It is indeed a good way to "cut" the stronger juice down to a lower level.
It supposedly just produces more vapor than pg while doing that.

Its optional. The juice you order is fine to use by itself unless you get some really high strength stuff that says it must be cut. I dont know exactly which strength but I think its anything over 36 you need to cut down.
