Through trial and error I have discovered that I don't tolerate much PG- 80/20 agrees with me. I have a ton of 50/50 liquid and was wondering if I bought this product http://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-Veg...&sr=8-12&keywords=organic+vegetable+glycerine. Could I cut my liquid with this? Paul

I get my VG and PG from Amazon.

Yes you can cut your 50/50 ejuice with VG. There are two down sides. The nicotine and flavor will be cut too.

When looking for VG and or PG look for three letters in the description USP. This means the liquid is United States Pharmaceutical grade.

The stuff I get is 99.7% pure and USP grade

i normally cut all my liquids with the usp vg from walmart i buy them out weekly (in both of my local sores lol) i am soon going to try tractor supply as ive heard they sell usp vg by the gallon , the bottles of vg from walmart are 99.5% vg and are about 3.99 a bottle and are 177ml per bottle

Mikedin.

I have seen gallons of VG and PG on Amazon I think it was $39.95 a gallon. For USP GRADE.

I usually get them by the quart about $13 a quart.

I'd advise buying essential depot. Very good and very cheap. Regarding cutting your existing liquid, your flavor will be diluted quite a bit when you add the vg. You may want to check with juice company and see if they sell a max vg or flavoring to cut it with instead. The only one I can think of that does this is mt baker vapor

food grade v USP grade is mainly a difference in purity.
food grade may be 98.5% pure v USP 99.5% or better.
these figures may not reflect the exact standard,
i am using them for demonstrative purposes.
some say for vaping only USP grade should be used.
some believe its a mater of choice as 99.9% of any impurities
will be just plain water.
regards
mike

FYI Amazon sells Essential Depot vg for about $13/qt. If you happen to have Amazon prime or otherwise free shipping it can be a good deal although buying a gallon from Bulk Apothecary is a better deal.

Anyone that buys from Amazon even if only once every month or two should consider a Prime membership.

In my opinion a no brainer.

First of all two day expedited shipping when shipped from Amazon. Instead of the usual 5-9 day shipping.

Second the ability to stream movies and TV shows.

The ability to rent movies not on the free streaming side.

The ability to stream almost every song on Amazon.

Lastly if you have a Kindle device (not the app on your phone or tablet you can borrow one book a month free.

I get so much stuff from Amazon. Every thing from Monster Energy drinks to PG & VG to many of my groceries to the dog food.

At $99 a year for prime its a bargain.

Bulk Apothecary sells VG for $25/gallon, delivered. Actually 10lb, which works out to very slightly less than a gallon, for $24 or so. Their PG is a little more expensive. I got my VG there because I use very little PG and one liter of PG will last me a while.

Essential Depot sells 2x1 gallon for $50 delivered, PG or VG. If you need a gallon of each that is the better deal. Just to say you don't have to pay $40/gallon.

I have BA and ED VG, I can't personally notice a difference. Both are good VG for me, and I never see complaints here. If you use 10ml/day, you are going through about a gallon a year. If you don't have Amazon Prime (for the free shipping) it is not hard to end up paying $20/liter or quart after factoring in shipping, which is usually high on those "emergency orders". Just to say that a gallon of one or the other or both may seem like a lifetime supply but for most people it isn't, and cuts the cost in half or better compared to buying liters/quarts.
