I've heard good things about them, but since I don't have kids, I've never had the occasion to watch them. Do your kids watch them? I have some great nieces & nephews who might like to watch, but since we don't have cable or satellite, they couldn't do it here. :( If it's available on DVD, I could buy it for them to watch when they visit. :)

BTW, Welcome!

I've never heard of them. Don't know what they are but if they've got a message for kids I need to know.

It is a CGI kids show that features vegetables that introduce various issues such as fear or love or any number of life issues that kids face. Then put to a themed episode that ends with how to deal with an issue and relates it to the Bible. They have spoofed many other shows like Indiana Jones the wizard of oz and Sherlock Holmes to mention a few. I am explaining this poorly so I highly recommend doing a google search and even check YouTube as well.

Thumbs Up to Veggie Tales also. Watched most of them while my daughter was under 10... now I get the feeling she want to grow out of them. Sad to because I want a good excuse to keep watching them. They have by far the most catchy songs and light hearted, good messages around.

I don't think many know but Veggie Tales was bought out by another company. The creator of Veggie tales went on to make another kid's series (All Online) called Jelly Telly.

JellyTelly

That also is a really good Christian children's show. It's more like Sesame Street with it's mixtures of Puppets and live acting. You have to hear their acoustic song about Leviticus.

I watch them even when my kids aren't around...keep watching them I say.

I don't have any kids but the show used to be on when I'd be cleaning the house on Saturday mornings. At first I thought it must be some kind of mistake - cheerful, funny, morally-uplifting children's cartoons? No way! Then I learned a little more about the creator and I was hooked!

Adults can absolutely enjoy these cartoons. :)
