I've been eyeing the Stro Mini OG by Sacred Mods. They also have the Mini V2 which adds bottom airflow if that's your kind of thing. Both have Velocity style posts and single coil options.

Edit: I could be wrong about the V2, it has airflow control, but might not have the same single coil option as the OG. Anyone have the V2 and an answer?

I looked at the website, but it didn't appear to have a single coil airflow option. Maybe I just didn't see the right photo.

As the title states, I'm wondering if there is an RDA with a velocity style build deck that is capable of single and dual coil airflow?

Thanks for any suggestions!

You could always build a single vertical coil instead of horizontal coils between the 2 posts on the velocity deck. It works great that way, just takes a little longer to get the wick setup as you have to pull the wick down through the coil. Definitely doable as I'm running dual vertical coils on my velocity :)

subzero rda has two bottom fed airholes one on each side, you get grub screws included so you can close one off, great rda, it has two posts but with grub screws coming in from the top not the sides like the velocity.

Ive also used a phenotype-L with a single coil inbetween the posts and taste was still vgood at 60w but you canalso get a phen-L mini which would be better again for lower power if thats your thing

I have the Velocity full size and a mini I use on my REO and build both single coil @ .3 ohms

It's a nice vape set up like this and pretty easy to build and wick.

Yep. I build my Velocity Mini, Stumpy, and Vortice with a single horizontal coil between the posts. I'm pretty sure I won't win any cloud chasing contests with them but they all put out a very respectable (and satisfying) amount of vapor using a single 26ga .5 ohm 2.5mm Kanthal coil.

I have a velocity clone I bought to experiment with. But I've found that just as with the RTA'S I normally use, dual coils don't suit my vape style well.

I will try putting a build in it like this tonight. Looks great!

The STRO mini only has dual airflow and it does not adjust. I have and do not like it. Too wide open for my taste. I just don't get any flavor off of it.

VCM Glacier V2 as well as the STRO mini and STRO OG mini. All under $60.
@Kenndall the STRO OG mini has AFC control and a single coil option

Edit: phenotype-L is also a very good option (if you have a twisted messes atty that cap will fit on it), and they just released a top airflow sleeve/cap for it. I'm looking into it now because of the cap anarchist X Aria released.

Yesterday I tryed dual claptons @ .3 ohm for the first time in my Velocity mini with a Kanger Kbox Mini. Didn't enjoy the vape as had to run it 40-50 watts to get a decent hit, way too hot for me and went through battery in just a few hours.
So late last night took one out and reinstalled one clapton as above. Now its @.7 ohm and a real nice vape between 17.5 and 22.5 watts with lots of flavour and will get more than a couple hours from a battery
I have also used one coil horizontal and just screwed down the airflow to barely open with top airflow holes closed and got an o.k. vape, not as good as the vertical clapton but it worked.
Did wicking as above but found the long tail behind the coil lead was choking off the juice flow so I just put it outside the lead and down to the juice well and its wicking great now. :thumb:

Chipotle.
Take a look at the Subzero, while it's not really anything resembling a velocity style deck it is a two post deck with airflow that can be closed off entirely(with a screw). Now it is bottom airflow which may be something you're not accustomed to, some people don't like bottom airflow and some people once they use it like it so much they only use bottom airflow after that, I happen to really like bottom airflow so it caught my attention.

$10.24 Subzero Competition Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I've toyed around with buying the Subzero numerous times mostly for the fact that it is a two post deck with capability for single coil airflow, but alas I already have too many atomizers collecting dust to bother purchasing another.
