On several occasions I have sent e-mails requesting product information to Velvet Cloud Vapor and have never received any responses. I wonder is this normal for this vendor or am I just receiving no response because my e-mails contains no order for e-liquid?
Perhaps it is the attitude of the vendor to be above such trivial things as a customer question regarding product details. Surely no company , regardless of how small can be without sufficient time to respond to a customer inquiry?
I'm not asking for anything proprietary or similar info. Just some basic info!

I wonder if anyone else has had the same experience with this vendor?

I have emailed them atleast once, but I was asking to see if I could get a specific sample included in an order that I placed. The response was timely. VCV is a reputable dealer, you should get a reply from them. How long have you waited since emailing, and are they going into a junk folder by chance?

The list of this happening with many vendors is as long as my arm. I did have a question for that one too a while back, never received a response, and so have never ordered their juice.

Some vendors start out that way and then show improvement. Others start out answering and then don't anymore.

There are also some who are really consistent, with both product AND customer service. I suspect they will stay in business longer as the competition gets more fierce. :)

That's not good for business, if a vendor won't return my inquiry in a timely manner, then I see it as my business isn't appreciated. Most businesses has one person who takes in all orders, answers emails & phone calls.

Unless the request is unreasonable, most businesses, not limited to e-juice sales, will answer inside of 24 hours, except weekends/holidays. If I'm in the process of trying to decide what to buy, that vendor has just lost a potential sale.

You're right , that is not good for business. I have given them a reasonable amount of time -- weeks to respond. There is an apparent lack of interest in customer service with this vendor.

I have 2 bottles of their juice and if I don't get a response fairly soon from my last e-mail then that is the end of purchasing Velvet Cloud Vapor e-liquid for me!
If they have no intention of interacting in this most simple form with consumers they should be in some other business where their product is not possibly subject to customer questions - like trading securities or some such adventure - or perhaps trading frozen frog legs.

Seriously though, I have e-mailed questions to Halo, Seduce Juice, Kick Bass etc... - never a problem.

So, this is there standard operating procedure? Perhaps Velvet Cloud Vapors has become so large that they find it necessary to only respond to their massive network of retailers. :)

I've never had VCV or emailed them but I was ignored by a vendor once so I emailed again after urging from here. The vendor said they never received the original message. (it wasn't an email, it was the contact us thing) If this was multiple attempts at contacting VCV, then I don't know.

Well, I've e-mailed several times and been ignored. I am not even given the simple courtesy of being lied to by the vendor.

I've heard that about VCV before. I am a regular customer but have never had to e-mail them for anything before though. Sorry you had that experience :( I'm a big fan of theirs. But I understand not responding to e-mails being disconcerting on your end.

Sorry to hear that is normal for Velvet Cloud Vapors. I like both e-liquids I have purchased but I have a couple of really straight forward questions specific to "All Natural Organic" e-liquid -like how long is the product good for after opening and such simple to answer questions.
Since this is the only organic - natural - no artificial flavor e-liquid I have purchased, I would like answers from the manufacturer as opposed to opinion from other forum members - no offense to any forum member - I just think the manufacturer is in a better position to answer accurately.

Additionally there is no date of manufacture or expiration date on their product, so I have nothing to even begin to go by.

I guess I'm just a small fry and not worthy of a response from the exalted manufacturer.

I have e-mailed them about 6 weeks ago - no response.
Then another e-mail about 4 weeks ago - no response.
My most recent e-mail was 3 days ago - no response.

I am courteous and polite and professional in my e-mails. I ask for simple info about their products.

If they are reputable then why not answer?

And no, my spam/ junk e-mail folders have nothing from Velvet Cloud Vapor.

It is amazing to me that they survive without responding to customer inquiries.

...like how long is the product good for after opening...

Speaking from trying 20 of their 24 juices? Depends on the particular flavor..

In terms of taste, some start to go downhill and/or fade after about 2 months from time of receipt, in my experience (even though they are still vapeable at that point) -- while others still taste fine.. One was even still getting better! One ECF'er reported that last one was even still tasty at 6 months..

This was discussed in the big VCV thread, and was somewhat mutually confirmed...

You just got your answer to that one.. I'd try to go into even more detail if I knew which particular flavors you're inquiring about, because there's no one-size-fits-all to that...

And no, not all e-liquid manufacturers provide a born-on-date and/or expiration date.. Vapers can certainly request that juice-makers start doing that (via email, Facebook, etc.), but if they don't comply & that's important to a vaper, then find a juice-maker that does do that..

In terms of VCV, who provides neither at this time, since individual bottles aren't made-to-order but whipped up in small batches, whenever I order directly from them they are always pretty fresh with about a 2-week steeping range (meaning, they probably go through those batches within a couple weeks, then whip up some more)..

Any particular reason you don't want to ask their customers here at ECF?

I don't blame him for wanting answers from the company. They should be responsible for answering any questions customers have.

My experience with emailing them was excellent. Had a problem with harsher throat hit after steeping from Harvest Berry and Straw Gwab. Response was fast and lengthy, involved multiple emails, and they were extremely helpful along with sending me a lower nic than normal to see if that was the problem. Weird that you are having this problem. Also, are you sure you are emailing the right place, there is also a Velvet Vapor.

Wow - that's a very short shelf life before flavor starts to fade!
