Is there a danger without vent holes of 3.7 V with a single battery?

The danger is in a battery exploding where it is completely encapsulated without a vent to direct the energy, and it is possible for a single battery to explode. IOW, there is nothing 'specially dangerous' about having 2 batteries vs. having only one and the voltage rating is irrelevant.
