Venues for Seattle/WA meet

As I stated in the Seattle Meet thread. I am creating this poll to see who is interested in which venue. This will ultimately decide where the meet will occur.

This is where The Vaporium held their last Vapemeet.

Not trying to push a bar, but to vape indoors in Pierce County it has to be 18 or older establishment. Other than bars, strip club is the only other 18+ I know of and that's not an option.

Having it during the day though may make it better for those who do not drink. I will try and think of some more options. Some Pizza joints have banquet rooms that do not cost to rent. I have used them before for fantasy football drafts so that too is an option, if they go for vaping!

LOL, probably should've created something like that. The true purpose of me making the polls is to see the level of interest in a different aspect. Right now, I only see 7 people actually that have voted.

Well, I voted, but it depends how big it's gonna be.
If we can get big enough to have vendors I'd say Tulalip.
But if it's going to remain a small meetup then I'd say Volcano.

The closes one to the airport would be best for me or at least towards Tacoma.

Aah.... If only I weren't deployed. I'll refrain from voting for that reason, but I'd be there if I could! Oh, and Jeff, even if you do try and steal my GLV while I'm at the store, you can't have it.

That's awesome! Sorry about not responding earlier...totally missed your post. Unfortunately, I can't alter the poll right now. Since Vaporium is a small venue. Perhaps, this can be used in it's place since it's so nearby.

I understand altering the poll is out. But FYI the B&I is smaller than The Vaporium, and the Volcano Vape Cafe is about 60-70% bigger.

Now Kim at The Vaporium just redid the layout again, and the whole store is now way more open. On Tuesday she had about 35-40 people roll in at once when she the open sign turned on and it was packed. Could have fit maybe 10 more people, but everyone would have gotten to REALLY know each other!

So business is great, just not sure if it could handle business & a Vapemeet at the same time. You should go in there and talk to her!

As mentioned in the original thread, the Harmon Brewery may be an option too. That is about a qtr mile from Cheers Downtown. May be good to see if they have a banquet room available. Just a thought!
