Great thread! I need to change the name on my PayPal account (have been married 8 years now and still haven't changed it LOL), but that seems like the easiest way.
I also used paypal. Waited for the big "verified member" to show up on my profile. Then, yesterday I created a new email to handle my vaping correspondence and changed it on ECF. Wouldn't ya know it? Joker messaged me yesterday to say that my paypal email didn't match my ECF email. 
I can't believe I didn't think of that when I changed ECF email. So, now I have added new email to paypal and had to reapply for verified status. Sheesh! I am my own worst enemy!

I had paypal verified for a bunch of years now but if i remember correctly, they made a $1.00 deposit in to my checking account.
Ok, my paypal is linked to my debit not having a bank acct, what's the alternative? Mention of a "net" method but no known info given. Facebook ? One of the Vendors that knows me ?
I re-read (duhhhh) the processes and will have no problem using a non-paypal method. Thanks to Volcanoboy's link and careful rereading.
From what I read the process might be a little bit slower than usual now. Took about a week for me getting verified using PayPal.
Just sent my verification request in! I did the paypal option. I am so anxious to get to the classifieds and blow my entire paycheck it is not even funny Lol. (assuming of course the things I want are around)
