Hello all. Here are my questions...I would like to darken in the lines of the engravings...like on the TOBH. Suggestions?

That little nut is a real pain in the @$$ to tighten down...so do you all use thumb screws or found another fix?

And has anyone compared the original to the clones for build quality?

Thanks all!

Paint. Something that can withstand heat and not give off fumes.
Duplicolor500 ceramic engine paint would make a good candidate. It is cheap and easily found at many automotive stores.

Clean the engraved portion very well with distilled alcohol or acetone.

Spray the paint into a disposable cup or bowl (yes, it is a spray can) then apply it by hand with a brush. Use solvent to clean any excess paint that may have spilled out of the engraved portions.

Then either let it air cure for a few days or put it in your oven at low temp for a few hours.

One of the local BnM guys has both authentic and tobeco versions. Said they are near identical and that the screws suck on both.

Iirc he did replace the screws on the authentic with thumb screws
