Very bland flavor with Vivi Novas?

I cleaned and rinsed them yesterday for the first time and did a dry burn today and for some reason I'm getting a very bland vape. It tastes almost like air. For the past couple of days I've been using my smokeless image small bats/cartomizers and just had my Vivi Nova's sitting. Today I went to fill one vivi novas with Oompa from HHV (the same e-liquid I used in my cartomizer the day before) and one with Boba's Bounty. Both of them have almost no taste at all. I took a few hits from the small smokeless image cartomizer filled with Oompa and taste is there so it's not my taste buds. Took some hits with the vivi nova full of Oompa and there is practically no taste at all. I'm getting decent vape production otherwise. Using the Vivi Nova's with a Vision Spinner. Anyone know what could be wrong?

A lot of folks mention the VVN muting their flavors.

I'm not sure what it comes down to, but if I had to take a guess it's probably the wick getting super gunked under the coil. From my experience the wick is generally some how the issue. I had nothing but issues with the stock heads.

I'm running my VVN right now with 4 strands of Aunt Lydia's Bamboo yarn and full flavor, great vapor & TH. Only things that were changed were the coil & wick material.

I figured it out. The Boba's I bought doesn't seem to have a flavor. I can taste the Oompa well now. A mod can delete this thread if they want. Doesn't have anything to do with the Vivi Novas.
