Anyone who can help me out I would appreciate it.
I'm going on 2 months since stopping smoking and starting vaping. To this point the vaping has been quite continuous and enjoyable. Although I have had a few bouts in the last 2 months with some dry and sore throat experiences, last night got kind of scary. I noticed that suddenly my throat became very sore. It was occuring on just one side and started to get so intense it also felt as though my glands up by my upper left jaw were swelling. Almost as though i was oozing saliva from my gums. I immediatly changed out my atty to a new/clean one but it didnt seem to make a difference. It was almost as though my jaws were reacting as though I had eaten something super-extremely sweet and rich. Then the pleasant vaping taste was gone. It all just seemed to turn bland and un-enjoyable. I actually started to think about lighting up a cigarette at this point but haven't and really don't want to. I've been doing so well. Also when I laid down to sleep I had this very unusual chemicle-like/juice smell I couldn't seem to get rid of. Not sure if it was my nose or mouth breathing or maybe on my hands. It was like I suddenly couldn't "taste" anymore. Anyone out there have any similar experiences or a clue as to what the heck is going on with me and this horrible sore throat and jaw pain?
Thanks

A sore throat is generally in the throat area when a person swallows. This is occuring more towards my temple/jaw areas. Like a slight pressure on my temples/ upper jaws. Since this morning I have chewed gum, drank more water and hot tea and it isn't as bad but is still there and I have vaped much less than normal as well.

You're sick. Go see a doctor. Don't blame the vape, cuz that's not it.

wherever my daydreams take me
You know there was a thread just like this one the other day...the e liquid is VERY dehydrating..it is so important to drink lots and lots of water while vaping and really anytime ...someone there also mentioned that some juices in certain PVs gave them that awful taste in their mouths for days....I had gotten a very sore throat a few weeks after I started ..sounded something like yours...but it finally passed...I would see the Dr just in case, as you could have an infection...'swollen glands' etc....it's no fun for sure...hope you feel better soon...take good care...Lee z36640644.gif

All up in your grill..
PG is a mild throat irritant. All glycol acts as a humectant and absorbs moisture. (dehydrates your mucus membranes) Upping your water intake and switching to all VG based juices might prevent future bouts. Also did you recently change liquid types? There is all kinds of weird stuff that vendors use besides VG and PG. PEG and PGA can be found in many juices. Some have been tested to contain trace amounts of DEG. (which has NO business being in anything ingested.) Also some flavorings can be harsh to the throat. Are you using attys or cartos or clearos or something else? Any changes to that? It may not be any one thing but a combination of factors.
