I just ordered a ipv2 50 mod from a vape store I will remain nameless. I paid using my secure paypal for the amount of 109.00. Today I went back to site and they had a posted notice that they are looking for a new merchant because paypal will no longer service them because they are vape products. Well I personally feel like no longer using PayPal myself because they are treating vaping as some sort of crime or criminal activity. I'm so angry right now I'm considering constructing a letter to paypal. It's not like the site was selling Nicotine, or anything like that. They sell mods. There is absolutely NO reason for paypal to behave in this manner towards vaping and mods. Does anyone else agree with me here? Has paypal gone too far? I think YES!!! What's your opinions? ?

What's worse is that they pick and choose who to do this to it seems. You never know which purchase that they'll suspend your account for. So far, I've been lucky. They seem to ignore this policy for the most part. Every once in a while though, both Ebay and Paypal will bring down the hammer on someone, seemingly randomly...

I personally do not use paypal because they are anti-gun/2A. As said by one poster said they can do what ever they want too. I hope if they are anti-vaping that ECF has the balls to quit using them to verify members. I try not to support any business that goes against what i believe. Sometimes its hard but i usually find a way.

Agree 100% --- vote with your wallet, AND your opinions. As information spreads very quickly to all corners these days, your opinion tends to get a bit more mileage than in the past. As for eBay, I have not had the opportunity to be a seller in some time, but are they now taking 20% of the final sale in some cases? (20 per CENT???)

I would tend to agree but will continue with paypal because of hunting goods that I can not get anywhere else. I would be crying if they cut off paypal with FastTech. LOL

paypal was also quick to freeze donation to wikileaks.

Guess it's one thing to p*** on a small vapeshop, or risking major turnover with a player like FT....

For a lot of people on the forums this is not a new thing. I've long stopped using Ebay for it's anti e-cig policies in its TOS.

As others have said, vote with your wallet. Main issue we have is the lack of widely accepted alternatives. I admit to using Paypal for purchases from overseas suppliers, but I feel dirty each time I do.

Weird thing is that Ebay (and Paypal) only seem to enforce the policy in fits and starts. Do a quick search of ebay right now and you'll see thousands of e-cig related products. Many forum members have bought through ebay for years with no issues at all. It's all very random.

You are about 4 years late and upset because you never read the terms of use for PayPal that have been there all along.

You want to keep AND beat Paypal?
Get the PayPal debit Master card and use it. Transactions go through PayPal, protecting your information and it can be used at any Merchant that takes Credit Cards.:D

Cutting off nose to spite face.

I have used Ebay/PayPal to make repair parts purchases many times this year. In all, I have saved over $10,000 just this year by doing DIY and buying the Parts I need at Below Wholesale. Think About what things logically.

Maybe some cover-your-behind exercise on their part.

Don't know much about the complexities of intra-state intra-US and international trade legislation.

So it may actually be easier - from a legal point of view - to get vape stuff from outside than it would be from within a specific - legal - territory.

Basically, I just wanna vape and not spend hours poring over legal fine print. So if pal and bay wanna pull the plug they surely have enough legalese in their conditions of contract to do just that.

They should also be aware that this isn't exactly endearing them to the community...

I agree to a point, but this is one of those things that I feel strongly about and am putting my money where my mouth is. I'd rather spend the extra and buy it from elsewhere - and I do.

Similar to the reason I don't shop at walmart - but that is a whole other discussion :D

I mean no harm. I just don't understand why they are anti vape and vaping products. I've always loved paypal but I'm very passionate about vaping and feel it saved my life.after many many years of struggling and trying to quit cigarettes trying everything from the patch to pills and finally finding something that worked and allowed me to be free of tobacco, I view vaping as something to be celebrated not condemened. Please forgive my anger it's just when I see a good business struggling because now their merchant has cut them off, it upsets me greatly. As I don't view vaping as a negative at all but as a positive thing. It just confuses me as to why said merchant would do such a thing. Thank you for understand my point and again, forgive my anger.I just don't see vaping in a.negative light. Nor as something that should put a negative stigma on if supported.my intent is not to offend anyone, I truly don't understand why being associated with vaping or vaping products is viewed as a negative. When it has helped so many people...
