Ok.. here is another question...I have been going over in my head (theres a scary thought) on everything I do when I mix my juice. The one thing that I did NOT do was shake my bottles of nic or pg before mixing...could this be an issue? This might be a dumb question but I'm desperate..

I've not seen it make a big difference.

The drying effect is not uncommon so don't think its just you or your supplies. Some are more sensitive to it then others. I for one am. Mix a base 65VG/35PG/usual NIC, then add 4% saline and give that a try (vape it before adding flavor). This is what I found helped the drying effect. You can get .09% saline at any big pharmacy chain.

Thanx dannyv45...I have the saline so I will give it a shot...I'm quite sure now that the drying effect is throwing the flavors way off and probly adding a few less than desirable tastes to the mix...It's getting real frustrating and I know its going to turn out to be something stupid!

Agree with Danny; have never seen a problem with WL's nic. I notice odd symptoms when I mix over ~20% pg. So, unless you're heavily invested in pg nic, how about ordering off for vg nic? If that cures your symptoms, great! Just give away your pg nic. If not, then you'll have a little more nic that you'll use eventually. And yeah, try mixing with some saline solution. I mix using 5% of the 0.9% solution -- though others go up to 10%. Make sure you get one without preservatives or other junk. I prefer the sterile solution made by Baxter (though apparently there's have a shortage...).

Thats my next step..orderin some vg nic. What do I have to loose? I also have the Baxter sterile water. I work in the medical field so I can get it pretty easy. I hope its just the pg giving me the issues. I cant see that I am doing anything wrong while mixing.

danny45..I tried your suggestion and so far it is working. I can actually taste a sweet hint which I am guessing is the vg. My mouth is still a little dry but my teeth don't hurt. Left over dryness probly due to me chain vapeing trying to get my fix without any flavor. This siad..it has helped tremendously. I am going to finish off the remainder of the 5ml that I mixed up then try this mix with some flavor added.
Can I mix up a batch of this base at say.. like 30mg of nic then use this base to plug into the calculator to add flavoring? If so, will I still have to add the saline to the recipe or just use whats in the base?

Just out of curiosity, did you steep any of your juices you made? I know dry mouth is your issue... But from experience if you are making your own liquid you have to steep or most juices aren't vapable.

Elizabeth, I'm sorry I missed your question and the answer is yes. I try a little to test right after mixing and letting them sit for a bit and shaking the snot out of them. I have some juices that have steeped for at least a week to 10 days and the result is the same..
I have decided to get the dry issue under control before blaming my mixes. Right now, I cant realy taste anything. :( Danny45 has given me a suggestion that seems to be working so we'll see and go from there. I will keep updating just in case this thread might help someone else with the same issues.
Hopefully a solution can be found.
