VG Diluting is it necessary?

I created a 21/79 mix a few days ago and I don't seem to be getting the amount of vapor I thought I would off a lot higher vg blend. I seem to be getting the same from my 50/50 mixes. I did not dilute the VG with anything just mixed it together is this the reason why Im not getting that vapor I thought I should? What percentage would you use to dilute a 21/79 mix of vg? The amount of VG in the mix calculator calls for is 7.9ml, pg .04 and nic .56.

It depends on your equipment and all that jazz but try adding Distilled water in 5% increments and see. I generally add 10% DW because that works for me. It may not work for you.

Since I already have this batch mixed and vape maybe a ml already how much should I add to try it out? maybe .5ml?

For a 50/50 mix, I use 2.5% of my TOTAL mix in DW. You can go a bit higher, perhaps to 4% since your vg content is higher. The result is more vapor, better throat hit and improved wicking.

Edit: did you say your pg is .04 ml, or is that a typo?

so if you made 8mls and vaped 1 ml do 4% of 7ml which would equal .28ml of DW you need to add to the mix. Get yourself the e-juice me up calculator. It will make figuring percents easier.

Yes my pg is .04 the rest of the pg is from the flavors that were added. 3 flavors if I remember correctly

I mixed 10% DW and 15% PG to thin my rts vg, still not sure it is enough but don't have flavor to mix right now.

This vg is pretty thick, I read that it differs depending on the supplier.

You might want to vape it without flavor just to see if you like it. And yes, vg thickness varies among vendors. I have tried vg from My Freedom Smokes and it turned out to be way too thin. I now use Essential Depot and very happy with it.

Hi Danny, I have noticed whenever I shake a liquid containing DW, and let it rest, I eventually get a white foam along the edge on top of the liquid. I assume this is only because of the DW; it does not happen without it. Has that been your experience as well?
