I have been using a Kato Square clone for a long time with a kayfun and have been loving it, but wanted to try something different and the Kanger Subtank looked pretty cool to me so I took the plunge. I also got the Kbox with it since the price point is so low. I think they look great together as well. I have always used a high VG liquid in my kayfun, which sometimes I had to prime a few times to get it to wick ok but otherwise no problems. Does anyone know what the recommended VG/PG% is for the Subtank with the OCC coils? Thanks guys!

The recommended PG/VG ratio is that ratio you like best. I would reduce Nicotine content in proportion to vapor output. The more steam you make the less nic you generally need in the juice. You can also use more or less VG to adjust throat hit. Regardless of wattage and ohm of build, I generally vape at less than 200 heatflux and above 75. Or on the cooler side of vaping. I find juice with more than 40% VG are to gunky and sweet for me. Preference is 70pg/30vg.

I have a mini subtank too..and just not much vapor as I get with the V2s with any ohm coil and I used high vg to all vg....I've tried it..at different settings..and am less than pleased with it.

I'll tried it with other mods than my istick 20 & 30..and Ed's vapor flask..same deal.

I'll probably up it up for trade/sale here soon I'm tired of fiddling with it.

What tanks are V2's? I've seen Busardo using one, and it seems to put out a lot of vapor but I don't know what company makes them. Do you have a link? I'm surprised you don't think the subtank puts out enough vapor. Even with the 1.2 coil at like 12 watts on a iStick 20 watt, the thing pumps it out for me. Granted that 12 watts is probably more than that because of the funky Vmean or whatever that the chip uses but the tank has massive airflow. Problem is the OCCs don't last very long at all (compared to my old Nautilus) and are expensive.

I firmly recommend and am supported by mounds of scientific evidence I just made up, that the perfect PG/VG concentration is... whatever you like. That's right, the KST can handle whatever you put in it from 0% VG to 100% VG.

Do what you like brah.

Thats what I figured. I had this guy at my shop tell me not to buy 100% VG juice. He knew I was using a KST. Who knows, anyway thanks for the info, its good to know.
