PG carries flavors better and provides throat hit. VG produces thicker vapor and has lighter throat hit.

It's not all or nothing. VG still has a bit of TH and does carry flavors, they may just not marry as well.

PG packs a wallop of a throat hit at 100%, and carries flavors very well, but the vapor production is greatly decreased.

Hello and welcome to ecf.

pg=propylene glycol which is used in flavors but also used in the ejuice itself. It promotes flavor and throat hit.
vg=vegetable glycerin which is a thicker sweeter substance and can slightly reduce flavor but increases the amt of vapor.

You can use either or both in your ejuices.

hope this helps.

Hello :) VG gives off lots of vapor and is less harsh than PG. You get less vapor and more flavor/throat hit with PG. 100% of either works, and you'll still get vapor. I do 100% VG it agrees with me. Once in a while I'll do PG, but if I do it everyday my throat gets sore. A mix of about 50/50 is the gold standard for most folks.
