Hi all.

I've been using a PG menthol since I got my 510 mega. I really like the taste. I have 24mg and 18mg.
Also ordered a coffee 18mg. It wasn't to bad, but not something I would use a lot. Just for a change in taste.

I saw on another post, another member said that if someone has a respiratory issue that a VG/PG mix might be better. I didn't want to hijack that post, so started my own.
I have noticed that after a few hours of vaping that I tend to get tight in the chest just as I do when I smoke analogs after a while.

Where I have been buying my juice, only has PG juice as far as I can see.
I was looking at MadVapors, they have a 50/50 mix. Does anyone have experience with this flavor from them?
Or possibly another estore that they think a 50/50 or a different ratio mix might be good from.

Some do have a reaction to PG and there are reports of tightening of the chest. You could add more VG and to thin it out add some distilled water, PGA or vodka. Distilled water would prolly be best IMO. Also some vapers have issues with menthol. Do you shake your bottle before re filling. Sometimes the ingredients,pg, vg, nic and menthol, will separate if left standing. Most vendors use menthol crystal drops distilled in PG and then add it to the juice. I also use the crystals and notice after standing awhile there is some separation.
Good Luck, Vapoor.

Some people do have a reaction to PG so they either use all VG juice, or like you said a ratio of the 2.

Higher VG juices are thick though and will clog attys and cartos faster. Personally I find 30% VG or less is the best for an atty or a carto. I normally make my juice at an 80/20 ratio.
If you do think you might be having a reaction to PG though then I would def try a higher VG juice. Like I said, it is thick, but certain vendors thin out their VG so the juice works better in attys and cartos.
Personally I dont like Madvapes juices at all, but you might like them.
Someone else should be able to give you some good suggestions for vendors that have alot of VG juices and especially thinner VG juices. I just personally dont use them so I wouldnt be a huge help.
Check out BlueMist Vapor. You can get all their juices in either 80/20 or 100%VG. So you could try a few 100%VG juices and see if that helps. They have a huge selection, over 250 juices and really great prices. They offer sample packs which I recommend you get to try a bunch for cheap.
Goodluck!

I smoked menthol analogs, that's way I went with menthol ejuice.
As I said, the place I bought my juice from seems to onl have the PG.
I do shake my juice, ( even started a thread asking if others did. :) )
Guess I'll see if I can buy VG from a store or maybe find it online.

Thank you,
I looked at BlueMist, but it looks like they don't have a, just menthol juice. Also they don't have, at the juice's I did look at, a 18mg. They showed 16mg and 24mg. The disposables I started with were 16mg and that left me wanting, so What I have used so far are 18 and 24.

You can buy VG cheaply at the pharmacy in the band aids/ first aid section next to the iospropyl alcohol. However if you do add it to the juice it will dilute the flavor and the nic level. 50/ 50 PG/ VG juice seems to help some with this problem. You could always buy your fave tobacco juice and buy menthol drops separately and add a few drops.
Good Luck, Vapoor.

You can get menthol drops or even better menthol crystals from BlueMist and basically turn any juice into a menthol juice. Its strong though so start slow. Add a drop or 2, mix it up well and then vape it. If it needs more, add another drop, mix, and taste again. Do that till your happy with it. Im not a menthol user, but I think thats def one of the best ways to do it bc then you dont have to pick just menthol juices. You could buy any juice and turn it into a menthol. Just remember some juices might be kind of strange as a menthol.

Menthol crabjuice?.. Yuckk:facepalm: But regular crabjuice?...hm.....Yuck as well
You get the idea

If you can try to get VG that is used for baking or something like that. Thats the kind of VG that juice vendors use.
I find that VG that is sold in the skin care section(like Walmart) for some reason just doesnt taste right when used for vaping.
I dont really know what it is, bc their both USP grade, but they just dont taste right.
Ive made juices with the exact same ratios of everything, but one with baking VG and the other skin-care VG, and there is a noticeable difference. VG used for baking def works better when used to make e-juice
