The more VG...the thicker it will be.

Technically, yes, but in practice, there are many PG-free juices out there with a consistency similar to PG, as some vendors will thin it with other ingredients such as distilled water or PGA. I have some Vapor Station VG Tampa right now that is as thin as any PG juice I've ever had.

When one says "thicker", do they mean a thicker vape (plumes) or thicker liquid, or both?

Gemerally it means the liquid itself, unless specifically stated they are talking about the vapor.
In the case of VG, it actually leads to both. The liquid can be thined with things like distilled water, but a high concentration of VG does lead to thicker billows of vapor.

I haven't used my VG Tampa yet, but VG Frisco tastes very different from their normal PG-VG mix. The flavors of some VG versions of juices seem "flattened"... a bit of a compromise. One exception is the now discontinued 90% VG Bounty Hunter. I'm sure there are other exceptions. i prefer mixtures.

I agree, VG Frisco, Tennessee and Texas all taste MUCH different than their PG counterparts. Which is why I was VERY pleasantly surprised when VG Tampa hit the nail on the head. So, if you try it and find it doesn't hit the spot, I'll gladly buy it from you!
