What's the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to add more throat hit to VG liquid? I thought my wife was happy with the menthol EcoPure samples we had and I just got done ordered 2 20oz bottles from the UK and today my wife said it isn't doing much for her because she can't feel it. I have some vanilla PG but she doesn't like the vanilla. I guess I could get some PG and mix it (she doesn't care about diluting the nicotine, flavor though.... not sure). Could I add a few drops of some type of alcohol (we happen to have some rum)? Will that do the trick too? I know that seems silly, but I have seen some people mention adding Everclear to get more throat hit so I thought I'd ask.

I will be having a spinal fusion soon and am out of work. I have emptied my PayPal account on juice & accessories and hate to spend more since I will not be working again for at least 3 months. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Kevin--what nicotine strengh did you buy as many people here attribute throat hit to the nicotine level. I use No-nic and do get a throat hit, but that is because I have been using no-nic now for over coming on a year. I takes a while to adjust ---I would be just the same as someone who smoked no filter Camels and somebody gave then them an Ultra Light---they are not going to feel or taste anything.

I have the highest you can get with ecopure (v high) and have no throat hit lol... it's just them I think, it's very pure. I have a 12mg menthol that has a very harsh throat hit. For me it isnt about the nic content, its the VG vs PG... my 12mg is PG. I do not know if alcohol adds throat hit but since so many people use it, it wouldnt hurt to try.

Kevin--going way back on this forum--most attibuted throat hit to nicotine. There is a poll here from Febuary I think--I would have to dig it up. Like I stated, I do get a throat hit with no-nic.

This Ecopure has now had quite a few threads started about it in the last 2 weeks. I will purchase some as it is one of the only e-liquids I have not tried from the numerous vendors and report my findings when I give it a go.

All of the juice / carts I have bought have been "medium" (approx 16 to 18 mg). I have heard many people say that higher nic gives more throat hit, but I have also seen people say the same about PG over VG. I'm just trying to do all I can to keep my wife happy with the e-cigs because she has always been the one that didn't want to quit, and she is finally giving it a go. My surgeon said that non-smokers have a better chance of a successful fusion so I really want to at least cut the nic back with an e-cig.

On the Ecopure..... I really do like it, and I feel that it is probably some of the safest juice around (just my opinion). It is VERY smooth and has a pleasant taste. There is lots of vapor, but alas not much throat hit. They advertise that you don't sacrifice throat hit, but our experience differs.

She did say that every now and then she feels a bit of a throat hit, but it is rare. What sometimes causes it to be better? I figured it could just be the first drag she takes after it has sat for a while (using 510s).
