As people have mentioned, PG supposedly has the flavor and TH, while VG has the vapor. I think it is more trial and error with different mfg and blends to find the one you like. Thus far, the favorite one I have found is 100% VG (Vanilla VG WOW from V4L). It doesn't have the TH, but the flavor and vapor are the best I have found. While the TH isn't what I would like, it is better than some PG and PG blend juices I have tried. Aside from the previously mentioned VG WOW Vanilla, my second favorite is Velvet Vanilla from Velvet Vapors. You can order any ration of PG to VG that you want. She also several sample packs that are great to try. You can get them in 3, 6, 10 or 30ml and you pick your 5 flavors (3 if you order the 30ml) from her extensive library of flavors. And you can order each bottle of your sample pack in any strength and/or blend of PG vs VG that you want.

what kind of cartridge? Is it for a kr808? If so, I have refilled those 5-10 times successfully. If it's a 510, you can refill those forever and just replace the stuff that looks like a piece of pillow stuffing if it gets nasty. There are threads on the forum about what you can replace it with, some kind of fish tank filter material maybe?

Regardless of what vendors call them
Cartridge = cart = the plastic and stuffing part of a 3-piece ecig
Cartomizer = carto = the combined cart and atomizer of a 2-piece ecig

You need eliquid. Everything needs to be refilled.

Cartomizers last at least 4-7 days for me. I never let them run dry. If you run them dry you can singe the stuffing. stress the atomizer inside, etc. I always keep them damp. If the vapor seems a bit light or a bit dry, I tilt the ecig carto down for 5 seconds. if that doesn't revive the vapor then it needs juice. One cartomizer lasted a month for me (actually 2 weeks of use since I alternated vaping 2 cartos)

Even after performance goes down too low or the taste gets bad, some people save cartomizers if they are still working and try to clean them. Some have luck with that and some do not and many don't bother and just toss them because they are meant to be dispoable.

If you actually mean a cart used with a separate atty - I have been using the same cart for 4 months. I threw out the white stuffing when it got awful and cut come blue foam stuffing for it. One time I cut new blue foam for it when the blue foam got kinda frayed.

re ejuice - I like a base of 70pg/30vg or within 10% of that. few of my juices are 50/50 because ti was the only pg/vg they were offered in. PG lets through more of nicotine's harshness and TH and more flavor. VG smooths the harshness and TH, and dulls the flavor some and makes more visible and persistent vapor. if I vape nicotine in 100% PG my tongue and throat get sore.
