Favorite thing about summer is when it cools down at night & the wife & I go out to vape & watch the sunset.
a favorite thing about summer is getting to see rain.
Our rain months are Jul & Feb.
We live in the desert and are lucky if we average 7 inches in a yr.
We just started monsoon season (JULY) and it is overcast outside right now.
So nice to not have a blaring sunny day for a change. :-}}}

My favorite thing about summer is the beach. Nothing better than surf, sun, tanning lotion, and the boat! My favorite place to be during the stunner is on the boat, vapeing myself something sweet, watching the sun rise! Those are my plans for the summer.
Oh my, lets see...First to come to mind is the ability to drive the mountains on I70 through Utah and Colorado without having to throw chains on my 18 wheeler! I do hate chaining up.
Then there is the great annual family reunion: just a bunch of wonderful people laughing, eating and playing together.
Last and certainly not least, my granddaughters are out of school and they rotate weeks staying with Papa Stan and Grandma! They are getting so big (all three are right in the teens and tweens) that I am sure those summers are numbered. Soon they will have their own families and we will see them less and less. Love it while we have it!
Can a person have more than one "favorite"? IDK but as I type I can think of a few more. Summer's pretty darn neat!

Barbeques with the family, staying up late during the week and sleeping in with my kiddies, every summer my little cousin who lives far from us comes to stay with me for a week or so and I love having him here we always look forward to that, watching my kids and all the neighborhood kids run around outside together screaming laughing and playing like little maniacs well after the sun goes down, blasting music with a pina colada in one hand and my PV in the other getting a little bit of a tan!

Ahhh I love summer!!! A few of my favorite things are spending much needed time with the kids swimming, fishing, camping and bbq's!!! Thanks for the contest.
