I use Adobe Premier Elements. It can be fairly simple for simple editing, but it gets more complicated with more complicated special effects etc. I chose it because it has several capabilities that other editing programs don't offer. I would suggest having some familiarity with Adobe or patience to take time to learn it. It can pay off in the long run.

1 major problem with that software for me. I have a sweet HD camcorder that records in the best possible format for HD video which is AVCHD and Adobe doesnt support that format. :nah:
