I tried the PTB and it vapes great, but I laid my 510 down and noticed juice leakage. What am I doing wrong??

Probably not rolled tight enough. What I do is roll it up semi-tight then fold it. Insert folded in to the cart at an angle. This creates a natural "straw mod" then i fill one drop at a time till it does not soak up anymore. Then blot of the top of the cart.

No leakage.

Thanks everyone for the video love.

how do i know that the box i get will have the diamond bags instead of the regular or two double-bags? i'm sure the lipton boxes dont say "Diamond Tea Bag" on it does it?

On the front of the box it says "contains 20 pyramid tea bags" and there is a pic of the pyramidal teabag

thanks, just got back from the store and found them just after i posted, thanks piomode for the quick response (even though i feel dumb now that i just found them myself), i wish lipton had better tea, i guess you cant have your cake and eat it to...

You shouldn't feel dumb; I'm pretty sure that the first 2 stores I went to had them, but since I didn't see PYRAMID in much bolder typeface, I thought they were out of stock. The word pyramid on the box is smaller than the 'Net Wt' fontsize.

Most were calling them Lipton Pyramid tea bags when they should have called them 'Lipton pyramid shaped tea bags'

Hello Everyone,

Is anyone using PTBs specifically with a VX2 / J118?

I've been experimenting for almost a week now with using Lipton Pyramid Tea Bags as a cart stuffing material with my VX2, with mixed results. I've read every forum post, tried every rolling method, and used a number of different sizes, and I'm still not sure what to think.

Just today I decided to revert back to the good 'ol 'standard' blank VX2 carts, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of vapor and taste that I'm getting. Of course, going back to these means also going back to burning filler, more frequent top offs, and eveything else that I was trying to get away from. It also means that I have to keep buying blank carts like I'm hoarding for the apocalypse again, which I'd much rather not do.

So, here's my question: Is anyone using Pyramid Tea Bags regularly with their VX2? If so, how much of the PTB are you using to stuff with? Has anyone else reverted back to the stock stuffing after trying these? Inquiring vaporers want to know. ;-)

Thanks!

The stores around me don't carry the Lipton Pyramid brand, but they have 40-pack Pyramid PG brand for about half the price. Would those bags work as well?

Someone actually sent me some of those from england one time. The bags on those are more white colored than the ones in the teabag video, not sure what the difference is between them. I'm not a materials expert so I'm not sure if those there are made out of nylon or what, but I know that they physically look different from the Lipton bags.

Thanks for the info Super, a friend is bringing me the actual Lipton stuff in a day so I will have the real thing soon. So far I had a good luck with the straw mod which I've been using for a while now. Hope this will work even better. Lipton may just get a new customer. :)

Great vid Mooby. I just got home with some pyramid bags, made a cup of tea and cut the bag open. Dumped the wet tea out and rinsed the bag. Dried it out in a paper towel and followed the instructions. So far so good. Its vaping great. Now i just want to see how much juice gets used up before it stops wicking, seems like it will work way better than the poly and regular tea bags. So if you don't want to waste your tea then use it first then use the bag, that's what I call recycling.:D:thumbs:
