Hi first post! I inquired when they would have more in stock, and they told me a week and a half to two weeks:(

I'm a bit bummed because I really want to start vaping and this looks like the perfect product for my needs. I'm currently trying to get over a cold, and these damn analogs are not helping!

Oh well, I love the site! You guys are all great and I have leaned a LOT in my whole two days of lurking. So thank you!

I can tell you right now if your dying to get into vaping and you have your eye on another model like the m401 or something you might want to go ahead and grab that one until these guys have more stock. I have found that most people that start using these end up with at least 2 different kits if not more, not to mention battery mods and other gadgets associated with these. I like the idea of the greatly improved PCC but I don't like the idea behind the not having the atomizer be used with another model. All of the different models out don't make it easy to swap them around. It don't bother me too much because I just take the frame of mind that these are disposable, and if I have to buy a new kit every other month I still make out in the end vs the cost of tobacco cigarettes. Nice review and perhaps when they get their stock issues taken care of I will order one to check it out. So far I have not found ANY E-cig that is perfect in every way, I love the taste from my Dragon/m401, I like the vapor from the 510, and I like the PCC and the cartomizers with my KR808D-1.

Hi All,
Noobie here :)

After reading here, there and everywhere I finally ordered a Revolver-it seems to meet my needs :)
What I can't find anywhere is what pre-filled carts from other vendors would work with the Revolver. I know it's a m401, but most pre-filled carts only state they fit there product, not the size.
Would a Blu/Volcano cart fit? Any info on where to find pre-filled carts that will work?
I know eventually I will venture out into the other options--filling my own, dripping etc, but for now I feel most comfortable with a pre-fill and I'd really like to know my options.
Thanks a Bunch for any help :)

A blu/Volcano (L88b) cart probably won't quite work, because I know that a 401 cart on a blu almost fits, but if you push it on all the way you get no airflow.

A quick Google turned up this:

Ultra Cartridges

These guys sell 401 carts pre-filled with Johnson Creek liquids! I've had good experiences with JC liquids, much better than with generic pre-filled carts that usually come in starter kits. So this may be worth looking into.

Though I definitely suggest you get some blank 401 carts and some bottled liquid and fill them yourself. It's really not hard, and affords you many more possibilities. Not to mention that unless you've got more liquid available out of the cart, you've got nothing to top off with. (I always carry at least one 3 ml plastic dropper bottle filled with my favourite liquid.)

I'm with Snarky on this one.

I went ahead and bought the Revolver.. but more out of curiosity than anything. I don't have any expectations that this will become my daily vape, or that it will replace my 510 or KR808 stuff. I can see myself taking it to the bars with me in my other pocket....making it the unit that I "lend" to folks for a few minutes if they have an interest in PV's. And, of course, if it produces decent results I'll vape on it quite a bit myself. But I just can't see myself making a unit that is this small, with this limited liquid capacity, my mainstream PV.

But ya never know.

It's the battle of the new 86 mm ultra-minis with nice PCCs! I just dropped sixty clams on the Revolver Elite, and now I've seen this:

DEUCE II Sidekick

Granted, it doesn't seem to be a "smart" PCC, but it's waaaaaay nicer-looking in my opinion. The description says it's the size of the iPhone. Even with so little info, I'm tempted to preorder.

And then the Revolver Mystic will launch before the Deuce II ships...

I really, really hope I get a raise in December, because otherwise I'm going to go broke just buying up starter kits. :D

Revolver Mystic..... any news, pics, info

cheers

No pics yet, just hints from the Revolver folks over at blucigforums:

it WILL have 1 manual battery and 1 automatic battery and a PCC. the first one is on the way to us right now (literally in transit). then after we finalize on it they will begin making our first batch. so the actual sale date may/may not leak over into the early next month... but it IS on the way. to know if it will please the 510 lovers.... ha ha ha.... im pretty sure u will love it.

I personally dislike manual batteries and the 510, so it probably won't be for me, but who knows?

[EDIT: More info on the Mystic has just been posted.]

The Revolver Elite is a really great e-cigarette, but its not for everybody. On our site we show a chart going over this, if you smoke 2 or more packs a day (considered a heavy smoker to us) then the Revolver Elite is not for you. The Elite is for light to medium smokers, or for those enjoy the convenience of a very Small E-cig, with out compromising vapor production.

The Mystic is going to be more Heavy smokers (or medium smokers who wish for a MASSIVE throat hit and HUGE amounts of vapor)
While it seems like a better product, It's not recommended as the ideal e-cig for a light smoker (but anyone is more than welcome to try against out recommendation)
The downside to the Mystic is: size, and lack of Smart PCC (it will included a modified PCC though, but will not have a LCD indicator)

I understand how it would seem the Mystic is the better product, but that all depends on the who you are. Both e-cigs have a very specific demographic.

Based on Revolver's forum posts, it IS a "badged" something-else, but it's a something-else no one else has badged yet. I'm curious myself which manufacturer makes it. Looks to me like it might be a next-generation JSB product—the "ribbing" on the batteries (exactly like the Volcano ones), the size, and the PCC design make me think "blu 2," but with 401 carts.

So is the Deuce II Sidekick the same as the Revolver Elite model-wise? Or two totally different 86 mm ecigs?

Just got my Revolver Elite today and it rocks.

I am very noob at the vaping thing, but from what I know and have read about, this unit is pretty darn nice.

Very well packaged, good looking PCC, battery and such. Nice quality charger (wall charger) and USB attachment.

Took me a few attempts to get the right "drag" power down to produce the vapor well, but now that I have it down it works great. Battery seems to go down pretty fast (not really sure the average "puffs / charge" on most units) but it re charges pretty quickly.

Only run Coffee flavor med nic in it so far, but pretty nice taste and no side effects at all yet.

Should have ordered the dual pack that comes with two batteries, but oh well.

I will report more as I use it more.

The Duece is different I have had that on the bookmarks for a while now in fact the Aquavapor I believe is what they are going under you can get them here along with many other models https://aquavaporcig.3dcartstores.com/ if this is the same thing your talking about that is, they also have something called a Sidekick coming out pretty soon from what I understand. I have not paid too much attention to the 3 piece kits since I have switched over to cartomizers.

Got my Revolver Elite in yesterday's mail, and it's... pretty good. I'm not totally in love with it yet, but maybe that'll come in time.

The PCC is, by far, the best I've yet seen. I'm not crazy about the white plastic and busy black graphics, but visual aesthetics aside, it's quite brilliant. It has the same footprint as a blu/Volcano PCC, but is about a quarter-inch shorter. The hinge is sturdier and on the back, which means the top flips open 180˚, allowing easier access to everything inside. The assembled e-cig pokes up a bit higher than the charging battery and the carts, so it's easier to identify and to remove.

Pressing the button on the front lights up the LCD charge meter in blue so you can see how much battery life is left in the PCC. Pressing and holding the button with a battery screwed into the charging slot lights a green LED, then flashes the LED on the battery tip, then turns the green LED red to indicate that it's charging. After a couple of seconds all the lights turn back off, and pressing the button again shows whether the battery is still being charged: a red light means it's still charging, no light means it's done. The PCC itself charges via a standard USB-to-mini-USB cord, which is easy to replace if you lose it. If I find I need to recharge the PCC at work and my cable's at home, I can just grab one off, say, one of the digital cameras.

The Elite itself... well, it does produce very good amounts of vapour for an 86 mm e-cig, but to do so, it runs very hot. Uncomfortably so, if you hit it long. And it's blanching out or scorching flavours just like my 510 because of it. I switched back and forth all last night, and the same liquids in the Elite don't taste nearly as good as they do in the blu. That's probably my biggest gripe so far. Maybe that'll improve as the atomizer breaks in, I don't know yet.

My other gripe is with the carts. This is my first time using 401 carts, and I find them very frustrating. The inner cart is terribly small, especially for an e-cig that runs so hot and therefore sucks down liquid like crazy. Worse, said inner cart is black (making it harder to know when it's filled properly) and not flush with the sides of the mouthpiece, so it's much more difficult to push back down into the mouthpiece with a paper clip. I've already modded a 306 cart to work with the Elite, and so that's helping quite a bit. :)

Time will tell, but so far I'm lukewarm on the Elite.
