Hey folks...first thread posting here!

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions to remove a cinnamon oil taste from my 510 atty for my Joye eGo. I am currently at the point of drying the atty after soaking it twice in hot water for 15-20 minutes at a time, and letting it dry for 24 hours...this period will bring me to tomorrow at the same time as this post. Still, the atty smells of cinnamon. I'm hoping when I do a few dry burns at least the taste will go away. If this doesn't work I'm contemplating using boiling water and see if that makes any difference.

I'm through with flavors other than tobacco I believe...I might try a coffee in the future, but I don't think I'm the "wacky watermelon" type. I could, of course, pull the trigger on a couple of new atomizers, which I plan to do soon, but thought it might be better to salvage this one since it's only 9 days old.

Any help/advice would be appreciated! Great forum, btw!

Cinnamon is a hard flavor to get out. For my regular cleanings I use Alcohol. I just blow it out and do a dry burn to completely get it dry but even if you let it air dry it doesn't take as long as water since Alcohol evaporates faster.

You could vape some VG if you have any until the flavor is gone.

Definitely don't through away a 9 day old atty. I've got 5 I've had since I started in August that are still performing like new.
