While I would prefer there were no laws or restrictions on e-cigs in Virginia, I’m OK with this bill. Nonsmoking kids should not take up vaping e-cigs with nicotine. As for teenage smokers that would switch to vaping, they get their cigarettes illegally, so they’ll just have to get their e-cigs illegally too.

VA legislature adjourned; Gov. McAuliffe signed H218, banning "vapor product" and "alternative nicotine product" sales/posession for minors.

Special 30-day session started 3/24, ends tomorrow. That's probably it for VA this year.

AFAIC, this is common-sense regulation. Kids and teens have no business legally getting their hands on e-cigs, just as they should be legally barred from smoking.
