I like the essence of this Virginia Fire Cured in the little flavor bottle. Think I got this 8ml bottle from Wizard Labs. Tried a bare bones 5ml test batch and liked it at 2.5% VFC and 2.5% Acetyl Pyrazine. For me there's little on the inhale but on the slow exhale I get a nice earthy musky scent that I enjoy in this tobacco.

But I am a little confused on possible application of

*Acetyl Pyrazine
*Ethyl Maltol
*Apple Cider Vinegar

Do we have a general consensus on any of these? Over the weekend I'm making three more batches:

1. 2.5% VFC + 2.5% EM
2. 2.5% VFC + 2.5 AP +1 drop of Apple Cider Vinegar.
3. 2.5 %VFC + 2.5 EM + 1 drop Apple Cider Vinegar.

Will post those results in a few days.

I'd like to get past this testing period and MAKE A COUPLE OF 30ML BOTTLES FOR FUTURE USE! YEAH!
In the meantime, any of you VFC fans have recipe suggestions?

Thanks! Randy

Just dumped the test batch with EM and 1 drop apple cider vinegar. I was vaping zero tobacco flavor with a touch of sweet. If it were to be a flavor, I'd call it Diet Sugar. The EM wiped out the already light to medium tobacco flavor completely. Making another batch tonight with Virginia and AP alone.

Don't dump them let them steep for a few weeks. Tobaccos need time to develope there final taste. The EM at 2.5 is to much, use 1% or none at all. Stay away from the the vinegar until after steeping is done then if you think the tobacco is to harsh or prodominent add 1 drop per 10ml. Use 1 - 1.5% AP and add more if not nutty enough but only add more after steeping is complete.

Thanks for your input dannyv45. You're right about the strong willed EM. Obviously a great element in the right recipes but not as I did. I should of kept the dumped 5ml test batch a bit longer but hadn't come across a steeping batch that went to zero on any of the flavored ingredients. I have a new ADV 555 that took 10 days before hitting perfect for me. At two weeks should be even better.

I do have a recipe below which has steeped four days and is easy to vape with a very slight hint of the Virginia Fire Cured flavor. Tried a sample this morning and it's good. This is one of those vapes that offers no flavor on inhale but a slight nutty VFC on slow exhale. When I began DIY a month ago I just noted recipes on what I liked but failed to note the source so if this is anyone's brain child please chime in.

The VFC recipe from somewhere on internet:
7% Virg
1% TA
2.5% Acetyl Pyrazine

I just made another 5ml test batch and raised the VFC to 8%. Will steep and get back with results in the near future.

Dave Kzoo, thank you for that new angle recipe approach! I added brown sugar to the list of flavors to order next and will be trying this as well! Will follow up with results later. I thought about substituting molases for the brown sugar but will do them both when the brown sugar gets in.

Looks like a good vape and the proportions sound about right. May want to go less on the AP (1.5 - 2%) then add more later if needed but your in the ballpark for a good vape.

WOW! mixed the following this time:

8%VFC
1% TA
1% AP

That came out to 16 drops VFC, 2 drops TA, and 2 drops AP for 10ml

We got a working winner now! As ya'll know, tobaccos have to steep. They have probably have to steep longer than any other flavor concentrates. The above recipe is just awesome after sitting in open bottle overnight! First mixed a 5ml test batch and had to sneek a peek the next day. I couldn't believe how smooth it was. That virginia fire tobacco flavor with a tiny nutty hint came through. But it was completely vapable unlike 100% of my other tobacco recipes. Immediately I made a 10ml and took the VFC from 7% to 8% - AT at 1% and AP at 1%. A couple of hot water baths and left open overnight.

Sampled the batch this morning and vaping it right now! If it's this good after mixing, you know how much better this will be over next 2-3 wks! For those days I want to get away from my sweet Grey Earl Tea or Pipe Tobacco Plus vaping blends, this will be the perfect cig. Thanks for the suggestion dannyv45 - just what I was looking for!

Here's another updated ongoing version of the Virginia Fire Cured tobacco. A little on light side but the flavor is there so far

9% Virginia Fire Cured
1% Tobacco Absolute
0.75 Toasted Almond
1.5 Acetyl Pyrazine

I LOVE it so far.
Next batch will be 10% VFC - 2% AP - 1% TA - 0.75% Toasted Almond. Will post results in the future.
