Virus changes?

Has the recipe for The Virus changed recently?

The reason I ask is because my most recent order with a BOD of 5/2015 has an aftertaste like I'm vaping sweet and low or splenda in water it's a horrible synthetic sweet taste.

It's driving me nuts and I can say with 100% certainty that my previous orders never had this aftertaste or I would not be a fan of The Virus like I am now. I have a few older bottles from 2/2015 that I am going to load up this evening and see if I get the same taste to make sure it's not just me and my tasters being out of whack.

I'm going to try it in a different device that's being delivered today as well, but this has been bugging me for the last few days and figured I'd ask.

Just thought I would poke my head in and answer as well... That game is AMAZING!!!!!

WOAH! I thought it was just me!! All my current bottles are from December 2014..I've been tasting exactly what you just described for a while now. I thought maybe it was the longer steep. I have noticed that if I take long, deep pulls with a high power build, the nasty splenda taste goes away.

I picked it up a few days ago, alongside Batman: Arkham Knight. I'm a big Batman fan, and I've been punching the criminals of Gotham as Adam West, so I'll probably play some Witcher after I'm done with that.

I'll get them later today, don't have any on me at the moment. I have somewhere between 6-8 60's, so I'll check to see if they are all the same batch first.

Man, I was really starting to question my affection for H1N1!!

Thanks Josh, will post the batch numbers as soon as I get home for lunch. And yes I am enjoying The Witcher immensely, for the last few months I thought I was losing my passion for gaming but I was just waiting on something awesome to get me fired up again. The Witcher 3 was it for sure, I've probably got about 100 hours in it and still have so much to do. Absolutely hands down GOTY for 2015.

And I am glad (but not really) that I am not the only one tasting this, you all know how I am about The Virus and it tasting off has been driving me nuts.

I've been noticing that myself. I'm vaping on a 11/21/2014 batch. It's almost like an overdose of imitation sweet, verging on bitter, kind of like splenda, alright. I thought it was just my tasters are changing. I've been hitting on Virus since Feb of last year, everyday. My favorite has gone to Radioactive as it's not got the sweetness taste that Virus has, but to me, just as good as the Virus always was. I hope this gets ironed out.

Yep what RuDawg and you have said is exactly the taste I'm getting as well. I'm sure whatever the culprit the NT crew will get it straightened out, I am not sure I could handle not having The Virus.

Even though I do like Wakonda I get grumpy without at least 10 mls of Virus a day.

I have a bottle that was born on 5/19/15. I haven't gotten this however, I wasn't using a fresh wick either. I will have to try some once I rewick.

I played the original Witcher when it came out. I am downloading Witcher 3 on Steam now.

Awesome thanks, I have a new setup coming in todays mail and am going to try that with the bottles I have. I'm also wondering if those of us that are getting this taste are all using Reos, and it having something to do with juice dripping back down to the bottle after being in the atty?

I think you will enjoy The Witcher 3 it is an amazing game, actually playing right now between posts.
