Yes.. I am gulty of using terms that were incorrect. What I was saying is still true. Have you ever tried to contain honey? What is its WEIGHT compared to water? It would seem that the Honey would have a harder time getting out of an enclosed space such as a bottle. The water would leak right through right? That is my point. The fluids we use are oils in that they are a mixture of ingrediants that make up a liquid that is to me better described as an oil.
No matter what terms we use-- the truth is that oil may be lighter than water but if you put it in a can does a can of oil or a can of water weigh more? I don't know-- I do know that OIL will leak out of a tank more readily than water because it pushes into the cracks and spaces and leaks out where water would tend to stay in the tank when the oil will leak out.. And still, it makes NO difference Water or Oil needs a rubber barrier, a seal. Metal against metal will always have gaps and spaces that rubber will seal. Without that rubber or felt or some kind of softer water-tight material, between the metal surfaces to make them seal properly and the fact that this age old knowledge is not used in the design of these units seems ludicrous to me. What is the most expensive liquid on the planet?

PERFUME. You will NEVER see high quality perfume in anything but a GLASS bottle with the sprayer at the top with air between the perfume and the atomizer. IF you turned it upside down-- the perfume would find its way out. So they don't dispense perfume with fill opening at the freaking bottom!
The fill-opening needs to be at the top seperated by either air that never is filled by the perfume or the oil or the water and not at the bottom with a cap or seal that is made of two steel surfaces that cannot possibly keep the liquid in without a rubber seal.
I won't buy another unit that does not use this concept. I don't want to donate 5-10-15% of my expensive fluid or oil or perfume to the air or the table or the sheets or my shirt or my hands.
IS that well enough stated my good Viscosity brother?
So my question is... What is the brand that uses this simple but effective design to keep my precious, expensive liquid IN the tank and NOT on my bed, hands, clothes or table?
